DarthSidious 847 Posted March 13, 2015 If you're looking for a non-RPG style campaign, the Unofficial X-Wing Galactic Campaign can be found here: http://outworld-studio.com/uxgc.html 1 LukesandLadders06 reacted to this

PewPewPew 1,083 Posted March 13, 2015 You start of as a rookie pilot in a squad of three other rookie pilots. As you progress through the campaign you rise through the ranks and squire more wingmans. Then there's a mission to capture a derelict cr-90 and suddenly your name begins with Captain. Shortly after an epic game where you partner with the Dutyfree you find that you're now having to move the fleet into Armada. 1 LukesandLadders06 reacted to this

LukesandLadders06 34 Posted March 14, 2015 I'm going to put up a poll soon to see What type of system would be best. An RPG element? A galactic conquest type with maps? A mix of both? Maybe a kind of final fantasy tactics type? Will we have rebels vs alliance? Throw in scum? Would it start off right when the rebels started test flying the t65s? (X wing) and end at the battle of Yavin? Or we can have our own made up space adventures? So much stuff.....
Lord_Squinty 40 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Our club put together a full campaign which worked really well, start as a rookie pilot, then work your way up to rogue sqd pilot, captain etc. Its a bit dated waves-wise (think its just 1st 2 waves - choice of x or y wing), but should be easy enough to adjust. We gave out rogue squadron patches to all participants who reached Rogue Squadron (not a hard achievement, but enough to make them play at least a few weeks, and only a few quid off ebay) link: http:www.stirling-wargamers.org.uk/xwingcampaign.htm Feel free to steal and abuse it. (We do have a much better campaign for scum and villainy, but sorry, club gets first use before we give it away. No point putting in a lot of work for our members without them getting first bite at the cherry ) Edit. Just tried link to rules and get 404:not found. If anyone wants rules, PM me you're email address (saying its for campaign rules) and I'll email them. I'll get link fixed at some point this weekend. This sounds interesting, I'm wondering right off, are players going to have ranks as they progress, and will there be match up restrictions using those ranks, like in Chess.
