Why No Falcon?

Recommended Posts

There is another round of reprints coming I believe. I think it was on the list of stuff held up by the dock worker's strike.

There wasn't a strike; there was a labor dispute, a work slowdown, and a short lockout, but the dock workers never went on strike.

Amounts to pretty much the same thing though.

Hey Sign,

You may want to check your local Barnes and Noble, they seem to rotate their X-Wing stock to their stores. My local B&N didn't have it for 8 months, yesterday I went in there one was in all its glory.  I would have bought it if I didn't already have one.

I'm going to go with the UK's distrubitor not being the best.

I dunno he came through just fine with S&V, not usual two week wait.

Planning for new product is easy. Determining how much of a reprint they want is another.

You have it mixed up...forecasting demand on a unknown product that has no sales history and is not a direct replacement do anything is actually quite difficult. With reprints you have actual figures to go off of...restocking tends to be easier and less risky than sticking new product...

Exactly i have worked in a warehouse and when you have sales figures you just get sent what you need, when it's new you usually get waaaaaaaaay too much of the stock and it sits around for month's.

Saw one in a B&N yesterday. I only have one myself and thought about getting the one yesterday just to have but S&V has wiped me out a bit until a refund check comes in. And I don't have any more room for it in my box anyway unless I get creative.
