Parravon 5,216 Posted February 24, 2015 I'm not sure how two cards he disagrees with, suddenly creates a "stagnant gaming environment". There's 130 odd pilot cards and about 170 upgrades of various forms, most of which can be mixed and matched in a dizzying array of combinations. Far from stagnant! macar 408 Posted February 24, 2015 I have to agree with most of the people here that it isn't an issue. It would be an intense boost for say Wedge with VI to be able to turn any direction of 2 (forward, bank, turn) in response to any ship moving below him AND get his action. There in lies the real issue. The xwings would then have access to the best movement response in the game. It would be near impossible to block them, near impossible to imagine where they are going to land or predict what they are going to do because they can change it on a whim AND still have a chance to take an action for the options available. All that for 32 points on wedge. Who would have a slot for an Engine Upgrade to further his maneuverability. If you think turrets are bad now, the only hard counter to something like that would be more turrets.
