Tidally Locked 15 Posted February 13, 2015 (edited) So I was about to sit down for the night and play X wing with a buddy, when I felt gross for not working out in a week. So I decided to use x wing dice to determine a workout: -crit/evade=3 -hit=2 -focus=1 >roll all 12 dice >do push ups and sit ups equal to rolled value >take out 1 die (alternating colors every set) >roll again >push and sit up again >repeat until all dice are gone. I think I got roughly 130 push ups and sit ups in tonight.. Much more fun than army PT. WarriorPoet 352 Posted February 13, 2015 Haha, brilliant! This may help me stick to my routine! Plus, it's randomized, so your body can't adjust to it so quickly.
Robin Graves 6,054 Posted February 15, 2015 It is also good against stress. 3 catachanninja, WarriorPoet and UnfairBanana reacted to this
matys2 19 Posted February 17, 2015 Nice idea! It's also fun to do it as followed:Play a regular X-Wing game against your buddy. MOVEMENT:- Do pushups equal to the number on your movement dial whenever you move a ship. ACTION PHASE: - Do three sit-ups for every token your ship gains (stress tokens, focus, evade)COMBAT: - Do 5 squats for every point of damage your ships suffer.- If your ship is destroyed, do a 30 second plan. The fun thing about this is that my buddy actually started to rethink his strategy to do less repetitions.
