David Spangler 28 Posted February 9, 2015 Is it OK to roll more than 4 die (plus the alien die)? We had a situation in which we had two elite soldiers plus some great tech on one task--adding up the modifiers, the Squad Leader was entitled to roll 7 dice! He rolled some dice twice to make up the extra three. Was this legal or are you restricted to the four dice that came with the game? (Knowing FFG, they'll probably be selling extra dice any day now if it is legal!) Fabulous game, by the way. My son and I lost to the tutorial (!) but we won a nail-biter on the Easy level. Xraysteve 28 Posted February 9, 2015 When it comes to dice rolls, you are not restricted by the number of dice in the box. If you need to roll 6 dice, you can roll 2 of the dice again and total the number of successes across all the dice. You wouldn't not re-roll the threat die in this situation.
