[FEEDBACK SOUGHT]: Player Action Sheets

Recommended Posts

Oh I do like some of the house rules! So maybe keep them but add a note or highlight that they aren't official rules but "suggested rules variant" or something.

As for being one page, agreed...maybe another sheet is needed for Sil +5 only vehicles.

I've described the ranges thus when sitting at a game table:

Engaged: Us around this table.

Short: Across this dining room.

Medium: Outside that window on the front lawn.

Long: Down the block.

A sheet for GM's to jot down adversaries on, perhaps 9 per page, with spaces for stats, skills, talents etc.

i would laminate it and use a dry erase pen so i could prepare before a session but always know I'm going to have the adversaries i need.

note paper gets lost, whiteboards look crud, and your offering to make something cool!

I had created another thread for this request but seeing that I did not get exactly what I wnated I will ask it to you. At this point 2 of my players have bounties on their heads and thought it would be interesting to scare them by showing the Bounty poster. For that reason I was wondering if you could create a form-fillable pdf for a bounty poster where I can insert the character image, the amount of money offered, some space for a write up of the comminted crimes and so on.

On the other thread some designs were suggested but none was fillable. Maybe you could do something along those lines:

Thanks in advance.

Nice. If there was a way to fit an initiative trackers along the left or right margin. That would be helpful.

Problem with vehicle range sheets for space combat is that the opponent can only be seen at close range, unless your looking at a big target. Computers are used to target (unless your using the force) so the ship side would probably need to be split for atmosphere and space, then do some sort of top down map using well known features to represent ranges.

These are awesome - thanks GM Hooly. I've taken the liberty of reformatting the content for my audience (our eyes aren't what they were :) ).

One question: the Damage Control section says Success = +1 System Strain and Hull Trauma. Surely that should be -1 because it's a reducing the strain/damage?

Thanks for bumping this -- indeed, these are awesome.

Question: The 'Scan the Enemy' action's benefits - is this a house rule, or an expansion in a book I may have missed?  It's huge!  We never bother with it as found in the Core book, but I'd be using this version nearly every round if allowed.
If a house rule, was there a thread somewhere where it was discussed?  I'd love to read people's thoughts on balance - as is, I feel it's pretty powerful.  Heck, with the right skills it's better than Assisting.

These sheets are awesome and really helpful for new players, Thanks for putting them together.

Before there was a packet I found which had a bunch of reference sheets.  On one of the reference sheets it listed ways to spend Success, Advantages, Triumph, on skill checks.  Do you have any plans to makes a helpful sheet like that?  That type of info is very helpful for new players since skill checks are rolled less often and may not how great examples of how to spend their results.

Again Thanks for the sheets you made, they look great!

It was a house rule. I designed these before I even started playing the game, mainly so I could learn the rules. I used the text from an online sheet I had found, only to later learn that the rules it was using were home rules.

I have since adjusted the sheet with what "the good book says", and will update those shortly.

In actual fact it should say, "repairs 1". I have adjusted this on my new version.

Question: I am trying to find in the rules on "Evasive Maneuver" how it allows you extra upgrades for handling.

What is the source for that?
Is it somewhere outside the Core Book?
Or is it a houserule?

Edit: Also for the "Jump to Hyperspace" Action. Do you have a rules reference for that. I was never able to find something that specific.

Nice, great game aids I'm definitely going to use these for our game. In the player action sheet I notice that if a target is prone, the attacker gets a boost die to hit him. What if the character on the ground wants to melee attack a standing target engaged with him? Does the prone character suffer a penalty or is it a normal roll? Thanks again.

Excellent sheet, very good work

just a question: where did you found rules for Astromech and/or astromech actions?

there are from a book or did you house-ruled them?

Ok, my mate who plays an Ace found it: on Stay on Target

sorry for the silly question

That would be dependant on what your GM rules. I would suggest that there would be no penalty or advantage to be gained by being on the ground, although it could be argued that the defender (the one standing) has the higher ground so may suggest a setback.

Is there any chance to get the original file? It would be usefull to translate the sheets in french, as my players won't understand a word of those presently ;)

I would like so second that request as I would like to make a German version. :-)

Great Cheatsheets 👍

Since I was editing the Cheatsheets for my own usage anyway and putting in my House Rules, I decided to make a Printfriendly Version of the Player and Starship Cheatsheets.

Starship Player Action Sheet 3.0 - Printerfriendly

Player Action Sheet 3.1 - Printerfriendly

All credit goes to GM Hooly for creating these great Cheatsheets in the first place.

I understand this post is nearly five years old, however those cheat sheets are still fantastic!

Thanks for doing this, my group (and myself!) of fairly new players appreciate the effort
