Question about asset/research cards.

I have a quick question. So far enjoying the game but there is always something I'm unsure how to play out. There isn't any information about it in the booklet or the app. For cards that say place resources here (satellites, researchers, units, etc) do they cost money to deploy on research/asset cards?

As far as I can tell, no units assigned to asset cards or techs cost creditso. Only soldiers, interceptors, satellites and scientists assigned to tasks or the geoscape (a.k.a. map) cost credits.

No, units assigned to assets/tech not count against your budget.

 

If you play through half a round on the app (just advancing the events) you will get to the phase where the Commander balances the budget, and it tells explicitly what you have to check.

Thank you both! Didn't seem like the budget would be able to fit these cards if it was included but wanted to be playing it right!
