Dydra 32 Posted January 20, 2015 So with Industrial Geneconomics out .... Archives becomes a legit place for upgrade ( and imo the top tier, or most annoying, Gen decks would rely on that). So straight to the question:If you Ashe the archives, does the runner still flip all the facedown cards (without accessing them) or he has to access only the Ashe ( and the rest do not flip).I know that when the runner access cards in archives, he reveals ALL and then chooses the access order.I wonder if that somehow intertwines with the Ashe on Archives. In case that you don't flip the cards ( after winning the Ashe trace) that means that the runner will still only be able to access Ashe, but with ALL the additional trash costs from the facedown cards in the archives , so it could easily make the trash cost of that Ashe up to 9 or
CommissarFeesh 458 Posted January 20, 2015 Still flipped, but they can only access Ash. Basically, if they proceed to access ANY number of cards (including zero using Eater) then the cards flip. However, if they use an Access Replacement effect like Security Testing, or the run redirects from Sneakdoor, then no cards flip. 2 Devon Greatwolf and Grimwalker reacted to this
Grimwalker 647 Posted January 20, 2015 This was quite a lovely discovery playtesting a MaxX deck against IG after he'd pitched a couple of Shocks. Seems like Caprice is the best defense against Eater runs.
