Cornelius1 3 Posted January 12, 2015 Will Stay on Target contain rules for more varied pilot actions? Is that what the new Ace specializations provide? I have the beta rulebook for Age of Rebellion, but the vehicle piloting/combat rules don't seem all that different from Edge of the Empire. Does the final rulebook for AoR change this? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy starship combat, but sometimes I wish the pilot and crew had more options. As pilot, I often find I don't have that many interesting decisions to make. Thanks in advance. Lathrop 836 Posted January 12, 2015 Stay on Target only has new space combat actions/maneuvers only if you're an Astromech and only if you've got an Astromech Socket to plug into. Beyond that, there's mostly just stuff for Beast riding/combat. Hotshot does have a new maneuver and action available as talents in the bottom two rows (Koiogran Turn and Corellian Sendoff). There were two new Actions introduced in the AoR final book (I think they were also in Beta updates), but those are reserved only for ships Silhouette 5 and up, and it's more for Gunners. 1 miishelle reacted to this
Cornelius1 3 Posted January 13, 2015 Thanks for the reply. Well, that's something. I guess I can always work with my group to think of new Actions for pilots.
HappyDaze 9,899 Posted January 13, 2015 While not actions or maneuvers, the new terrain types have loads of ways to spend advantage, threat, triumph, and despair so that those same old piloting and gunnery checks will have some more pizzazz. 4 whafrog, miishelle, dougansf and 1 other reacted to this
