Stormbringer3 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Hi all!, We have been playing today a nice game of doom, and a new doubt appeared in some player movement. In situations like scenario 1, when there are some trigger effects (dying scientist that gives players the red keycard), does the marine have to end THE TURN (all his movement) in the space of the event, or can he move through it, take the key, and continue with his movement? The doubt generated when the invader said that the marine that took the red card, wasn't able to keep moving the same turn that he took the card, even thought he still have movement spaces left. What's the correct answer by the rules? Thanks!
Jervon 1 Posted June 21, 2009 As far as I remember the rules don't say excaly how to deal with such counters, but in the scenarios description under the encounter rules you can read: "IF A MARINE ENDS HIS MOVE IN THE SAME SPACE AS THE ENCOUNTER:..". So it depends on the encouter type, cos some of them are triggered after just steping on a square containg it and other - like the dead scientist - says that after the marine ends...
