"Doom" Decimator and Kath Scarlet

I tried this build the other day and it worked fairly well, but my friend does not play often so I want to try it Tuesday night against some of the more experienced players in my play group. 

 

I did learn that Vader vs A Wings just works ridiculously well.

Never a fan of Ysanne and Vader on the same ship, that being said I love Vader of the Decimator.

 

Kath is by far my favorite Firespray pilot as well, RS is a given om Kath and without any other rerolls I find that Predator is as well. 

 

Have a few questions thou:

 

1. Do you feel that EU is worth it when you have RS on, are you not more likley to take focus action almost every turn with such good arc coverage as the firespray has?
2. Do you find that the Proton Bomb has 5p value in the list?

Predator (3)

Recon Specialist (3)

Engine Upgrade (4)

Once you get low on health Moff can throw Vader out the airlock and shortly after follow him to his doom.

 

Ruthlessness is really good and together with Vader and Oicunn you could do 6-7(range 1) damage 1(Collision)+3(Attack)+1(Vader)+1(Ruthlessness) in one turn with the Decimator (where 3 can't be avoided)

I do think The proton bomb is worth the 5 pts, I am pretty good at hitting 1 or 2 ships every time I drop it. Most of the time I will be focusing, but engine upgrade is there for those times when not having the boost would cost me an extra turn trying to get back into the position I want. I just can't justify putting Vader on any named ship especially not one I am decking out with upgrades
