Eyeless1 172 Posted January 10, 2015 So I had a great idea I wanted to bounce off you guys. So I live in the west US where there are quite a few native american reservations, and i was thinking.... Im going to do the voodoo zombie senario, and instead of having good voodoo people to give the players protective talismans and such. i was thinking using native shamans to fill that roll. I could do quite a bit with it. what do you guys think? 4 Koma76, Robin Graves, thatwalshguy and 1 other reacted to this
mouthymerc 4,483 Posted January 10, 2015 Absolutely. The voodoo scenario is easily adaptable in many ways. 1 thatwalshguy reacted to this
Robin Graves 6,054 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) You could even have native american NPC trying to use the living dead to overthrow civillisation and go back to the old ways. Kinda like Raven from the Deadlands RPG. mouthymerc 4,483 Posted January 10, 2015 It's played for laughs, but there is a movie called "Undead or Alive" concerning zombies raised by a curse from Geronimo. It takes place in the old west, though. Wouldn't take much to update the concept. Maybe a set of bones found that revive or start a curse. It could be an alternate cause of the "No Room in Hell" scenario. 1 Robin Graves reacted to this

Have you played any of the new stuff from savage worlds? - deadland reloaded -hell on earth reloaded -deadlands noir I actually own all of the new stuff as well as the old. Reloaded is pretty sweet. Most fans prefer the original, but the new system using Savage Worlds is so streamlined. Deadlands Noir is awesome, by the way. I own the main book and the companion. Good stuff. 2 mouthymerc and Robin Graves reacted to this
mouthymerc 4,483 Posted January 17, 2015 Totally agree. I also own much of the original and new. I want to run a campaign using all three reloaded settings where the characters travel through time and each setting. Deadlands--->Deadlands: Noir--->Deadlands: Hell on Earth. Kind of my own plot point campaign. 1 Evil Genius Prime reacted to this
Robin Graves 6,054 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Really love deadlands noir. I made a Grifter powerd by booze. Liquid courage for edge, Habit (major) for hinderance. iI the the mob or the monsters don't kill him, the alcohol poisoning will... Another bonus of Savage worlds is that you can combine them with all the other sav. world settings: Especially cool are Rippers, Space 1889 and Realms of cthulhu Nothing beats sending your Harrowed Ripper to The Belgian Colony on Mars to fight against the Mi-go. I wish they would also reload Deadlands: Lost colony. Edited January 18, 2015 by Robin Graves 1 Evil Genius Prime reacted to this
Evil Genius Prime 62 Posted January 18, 2015 I wish they would also reload Deadlands: Lost colony. They are. Hopefully some time this year. They announced it during the 4th quarter of last year. 1 Robin Graves reacted to this
