Desolator2 14 Posted January 7, 2015 Is it stated somewhere in the book if you can requisition multiple items with one check? For example, an assassin might want to acquire 10 throwing knives, does he need to make 10 checks, or is there a modifier involved? I know there is a list with modifiers for RT, but that somehow doesn't strike me as appropriate for DH characters wi8th their limited funding
Gridash 353 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Page 142: "Successful requisitions for ammo clips yield two clips, plus one extra clip for every degree of success beyond the first, while those for grenades, drugs, and other single-use items garner one item, plus one extra for every degree of success on the test beyond the first." You can do requisition tests multiple times after each other, but it might decrease your group's Subtlety value if whatever you're trying to acquire has a negative Availability modifier and it might also cost your group time to track those items down. For more details on that, it's also on page 142. Edited January 7, 2015 by Gridash
Desolator2 14 Posted January 7, 2015 righty, thanks for the answer. everything that doesn't fall into these categories should be separate rolls, should be clear.
GaiusIuliusCaesar 2 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) While the RT table is bit generous, as it was designed with outfitting squads of redshirts to go with you on your away missions, I don't understand why they didn't include the multiple purchase modifer table from Black Crusade (Black Crusade page 306). I can only think of three reasons A) They wanted to keep purchases harder, which could be fixed by adjusting the table B) They wanted to keep it simple. I think this the most likely reason, same reason why they adjusted the table so that every rarity bracket is in increments of 10. C) They ran out of pages in the book because of all the half & 1/4 page art in the book. This is also likely. Dante1100 0 Posted May 7, 2015 in the FAQ there is a section on standard ammunition. it references arrows but i'd imagine throwing knives could use the same guidelines. 12 arrows with 6 more per degree of success
JupiterExile 26 Posted May 11, 2015 IMO use the table from Black Crusade. It starts with a single of an item at +10, 2-4 at +0, 5-10 at -10, and 11-100 at -20. Further orders of magnitude are additional -20's. BC is intended to be higher power level, so I would start the track at +0 for single and move on from there.
