The better Fat Han?

Recommended Posts

It was the use of Predator that threw me off initially. Once I thought about it a bit more, it does add some flexibility to having Han as a pilot though. Not sure I'd use it, but I can see how it could be useful if a decent, but not perfect, range 1 shot was made.

I'm not a fan of R2D2 as a crew card though. That risk of blowing more holes in the ship while R2 is trying to repair the shield is certainly a gamble.

If I was going to tank out a Han build, I'd probably go something like:

Han Solo — YT-1300  46
Push the Limit  3
Flight Instructor  4
Lando Calrissian  3
Engine Upgrade  4
Millennium Falcon  1

Tala Squadron Pilot — Z-95 Headhunter  13
Tala Squadron Pilot — Z-95 Headhunter  13
Tala Squadron Pilot — Z-95 Headhunter  13

Using Lando is a gamble, but hey... it's thematic! ;)

Depending on what your meta is in your area Im not sure running z95 is the way to go. With the high use of a HLC/ expose turrets it's not to uncommon for a talla to be one shoted, plus with what ever support either of those too ships are running could very quickly wipe out the z95 support.

Han still works as good as he always did in any of the phat han builds you like. The world champ list is the stronger build in a 2 ship turret meta. If you haven't got down to hull r2d2 is no risk at all and that's not to uncommon either with only 2shipsor 1 ship shooting at you and then your absorbing 3hits a turn.

The chewy build is interesting and I have found tactician very powerful but it's EU that helps keep han alive in the early stages of the game and if you run the world champ list you don't have enough points for chewy. If you have a yt2400 though you can fit a fringer with heavy laser cannon in with 2 points spare which is leebo and that's a boosting fringer. Leebo sorta looks bad on paper but is much better and not as bad as he looks once you start playing with him on board. You do kinda need leebo on the fringer to keep the HLC in arc.

Just a few ideas from my experience with the build
