Gosric 696 Posted January 3, 2015 Well. One of the scenes that they wrote and tried to film was IG88 going up against Boba Fett to steal Solo and getting his butt handed to him. And if he couldnt handle Boba then he couldnt handle Ultron.But they couldnt make it work since IG88 was a pile of glued and welded scrap in a vaguely human shape (cue Lucas "I always intended to replace him with a cgi robot' *L*) I think they actually did the scene in one of the EU comics or books but it was originally going to be part of the movie. Ultron pretty much kicks the crap out of a god, billionaire genius, super solider, gamma radiated green orb of destruction, sexy russian spy lady, robin hood, two mut.....err special people, and a robot named Vision. IG88 was a gum ball machine that was beat by a human bounty hunter with no special powers at all. Black Knight Leader 424 Posted January 7, 2015 Well. If we use their abilities when they are at there most powerful IG-88 A has got this fight as long as Ultron isnt inside him. IM talking about when he was the 2nd Death Star XD. The LASER weapons, rapid fire grenade launcher/s, and blasters IG-88 carries probably will do nothing to Ultron. HOWEVER IG-88s favorite weapon, the "Pulse Cannon," may actully be able to hurt and kill Ultron. Them being "robotic" I dont think would make them want to join forces. IG-88 isnt a droid but some kind of entity that can posses multiple machines. In a book series that may or may not take place in the primary SW universe, he destroyed a Droid rebel force. They couldnt understand why he didnt side with them. He basically felt they were flawed as was there plan. IG-88 has three weapons that are a serious threat to them. Pulse Cannon and his twin grenade launcher. IG-88 also has the advantage in that he can only be surprised attacked from directly above or bellow because of his 360 viewing capabilities. Most Daleks if not all dont have that sort of FOV. If he hears them with his normal audio receptors or the Dalek happens to be in ear range of his audio snooper it will lose its stealth advantage. If this IG-88A Death Star 2 the Dalek can forget about wining ever, even with their Emperors cap ship and planet cracker weapons or even time weapons.
