ObiWonka 7,081 Posted January 1, 2015 I love Corran/Outrider builds. Especially with Engine Upgrade and Advanced Sensors, I would love Corran with PtL even more here. Yeah, you lose the PS battle with Phantoms, but your sidekick is a Focus/re-roll Mango machine with no doughnut hole. ...there's a sentence that's never been uttered before! Then I guess 90% of ships are screwed in the upcoming meta.In the HLC vs Mango thread someone calculated that a Focus/TL Mangler has about a 10% chance to hit a Focus/Evade/Autothruster effect Soontir.That's 1/10 of shots connecting only, but with mango it would be a crit. If you think about it it's logical. It's only if you hit 3 and he rolls all blanks that your crit gets through. The other 2 are taken by Autothrusters and token... Well but in your case you fire with Corran, strip the token, fire Mangocannon afterwards and your chances are a bit better. No it will in fact not kill the meta because it really just works vs turrets or if you are at R3.
