Duck of Doom 62 Posted December 31, 2014 So what does everyone think about running two Deci's set up as follows: Oicunn 42 PTL 3 Dauntless 2 EU 4 Chiraneau 46 Squad Leader 2 Intel Agent 1 Total 100 Purely an intellectual exercise as I have yet to find even one to add to my collection. The idea is to (if possible move, title,) boost, title, ptl, title with oicunn while chiraneau occasionally squad leaders him for an extra action + title and keeps an eye on where ships are going
Felswrath69 683 Posted December 31, 2014 Don't think you can PTL after dauntless cause of the stress it causes before you push the limit.
StarWarsDad1138 107 Posted December 31, 2014 VT-49 DECIMATOR: Patrol Leader (40) · Darth Vader (3) VT-49 DECIMATOR: · Rear Admiral Chiraneau (46) Expose (4) · Experimental Interface (3) · Ysanne Isard (4) This is my favorite double Decimator build. 2 StevenO and ObiWonka reacted to this
StarWarsDad1138 107 Posted December 31, 2014 I think you really need Isard. Otherwise I might suggest running both of them with draw their fire.
Crit Happens 802 Posted December 31, 2014 Also, you can not boost into a collision, because a boost isn't a maneuver. You could use daredevil instead of EU. But then you'd have to get rid of PTL.
StevenO 2,996 Posted January 1, 2015 There is so much about that Oicunn build to dislike. If you get stressed there goes using PtL and is the Decimator really a ship you want to take stress with? EU isn't so useful when it doesn't let you set up collisions to begin with. Why use Squad Leader to give it even more actions? If it's stressed it couldn't take them and with a selection of three actions how often do you think you'll use all three? Nothing against dual Decimators in general but just the way that first pair was put together.
ObiWonka 7,081 Posted January 1, 2015 VT-49 DECIMATOR: Patrol Leader (40) · Darth Vader (3) VT-49 DECIMATOR: · Rear Admiral Chiraneau (46) Expose (4) · Experimental Interface (3) · Ysanne Isard (4) This is my favorite double Decimator build. Whenever I get a second Decimator, this will definitely be something I try. I love the commitment to offense. 1 StarWarsDad1138 reacted to this
StarWarsDad1138 107 Posted January 1, 2015 I haven't run it against a true fat Han yet, but it has had decent success against other YT builds. I generally tear through the escorts first, while trying to set up a bump with the doom decimator. This generally makes the YT hit a little bit softer while I make quick work of the wingmen. After, I try to alternately bump the YT so my opponent is forced to split his fire. I look forward to trying it against other builds. 1 ObiWonka reacted to this
StarWarsDad1138 107 Posted January 2, 2015 Anyone else have double decimators they like to run?
