quantity cards in warpacks

Recommended Posts

Should i bough more than 1 warpack to have maximum allowed copies of cards?

So in AGOT i can bout only one pack for all copies, what i can use in one deck  - not two or three.

In new pack - i saw quantity of Archon’s Palace is only 1 copy!

I can buy 3 core sets but not three same pack every month.

Each warpack will contain a full play-set (3 copies) of each non-signature card. So there is no need to buy multiple warpacks unless you like one of its cards so much you want a full 3 copies in several decks all at once.

It looks like cardgamedb.com is listing ALL the non-signature cards in Howl of Blackmane as "Quantity: 1," so I doubt the number on Archon's Palace has anything to do with it being a unique card.

I think it's safe to say the "Quantity" entries on cardgamedb.com are wrong -- since going by them, there are only 26 total cards in the pack 60-card pack.

The product description for Howl of Blackmane says: "This War Pack contains sixty cards, including one warlord with its signature squad and three copies each of seventeen unique cards, giving you a full play set of every unit, support, event, and attachment." As Khouri says, you only need to buy one -- unless you want to build the cards into several decks without swapping.

There are 4, trust me, I got them riiiiiiight in my hands =P

And yes, this time CardGameDB is wrong. There are 3 copies of each cards that ain't part of the signature squad of Ragnar Blackmane, so there's no need at all to buy more than one copy of the Warpack. Unless you are buying it for someone else or to be able to play Ragnar vs Ragnar or something odd like that =P

I played with Blackmane the other night vs Eldar.  Wasn't able to pin down my opponent's Warlord but once.  However, it made him play very suboptimally because he was trying so hard to avoid Blackmane.  Very nice side benefit. :)

I also personally feel that Eldar is one of the factions that can play around him much better as other factions. Dark Eldar also to some degree but with the many Mobile options Eldar and Tau have they care much less about the presence of Blackmane.

For me Cato works wonders against Eldar however, disrupting their great Command Set ups in order to keep the advantage for the Space Marine player, in a way also countering Mobile for a turn. He also works well against tokens leading me to believe that Blackmane is ideal versus Chaos (Tzeentch is otherwise a hard match up imho since they have so many direct SM counters and blooding Nurgle Warlord soon also helps), Orks (under iniative) and Space Marines (Cato).
