PS 9 in a post-Endor ship

Would anyone else like to see it? Personally I'd like to see at least 1 more ps9 option for either side (scum not included as low ps is their thing). Maybe in the e-wing and Defender?

I don't see why. We have enough PS9. These are supposed to be the absolute best pilots. There shouldn't be a lot of them.

I like the current balance and rarity of two PS9 pilots per side. I do feel as if Rebels have a lot more access to natural PS9 due to Han and Wedge's popularity (and Vader's unpopularity). However with upcoming "fixes" to the Advanced and Interceptor I'm sure the imperial PS9's will be more widely used. 

 

So I don't think we need more PS9's. With Vet Instincts there are tons of PS9 ships out there. I can't think of very many pilots that are on the level of Han, Wedge, Vader, or Soontir anyway, so it would be hard to justify from the story perspective.

I guess what I mean to say is I'd like to see a way to have natural PS9 in ships other than what we currently have. At the same time though I don't like the way that Attack Wing does it because we get less unique pilots.

PS9 pilots are beyond legendary.

 

PS1 and PS2 are pretty average, PS3 and 4 are good. PS5 pilots are very good. PS6's ranks contains grizzled veterans and many pilots good enough to be squad leaders. PS7 has Maarek Steele, Jake Farrell and Keyan Farlander. PS7 is the Ace Pilot. PS8 pilots are incredible, prodigal masters at the controls of their ships.

 

Looking at that, I'm content with there only being four PS9 pilots in the game, and they all deserve it.

Stay on Target maybe? Soontir was built for PTL, just like Tycho. Interceptors in general could do with equally effective alternatives but you can't beat three action Soontir.

Soontir, Squad Leader, EI. While 3 action Fel is awesome; built like above allows him to take a Saber with DTF to help him. Or an Alpha or any other non-PTL interceptor and have both with 2 actions each.

Right.  Also, as far as I can tell, the obvious choices for really great pilots are already in the game.  There are some Rogue Squadron/Wraith Squadron characters that could be put in, but nobody better than Luke or Corran, I think.

There might be one or two out there but I like only the best of the best getting PS 9.  I'd rather see all 7,8,9's have better options and usage before we add more to the mix.  This just adds fuel to the PS War fire that is just just starting to slow down, I'd rather not have it erupt again.

 

And Luke shouldn't even be PS 8!  R2 was the one doing all the real work.  R2-D2 doesn't regen sheilds, he should pump PS.

Pash Cracken always struck me as an amazing A-Wing pilot. Perhaps better than Tycho BUT for the sake of game purposes have him without an ept and be forced to use Test Pilot to have one. Then you give him an -awesome- ability.

I would love a droid that boosts pilot skill, even a 1 pt boost would let me run wedge with predator more often

Wedge Antillies wasn't Force Sensitive. One's connection with The Force has absolutely zero to do as a determining factor for PS9.

Wasn't my point. My point is that, as a player character in a video game, Azzameen has no real "set" skill we can measure, so instead the best bet is to look at what FFG did with the previous player characters. They got PS7. I see no reason that Azzameen will go any higher.

Because the designers don't want them to have one. They said when interviewed about how they had built the Scum faction that they'd have lower PS across the board compared to their Imperial or Rebel counterparts.

I feel the need to point out that the game only has one post-Endor ship and FFG had to majorly scrape the barrel to get any pilots for it. One of its pilots is famed for flying an X-wing and the other flies a capital ship.

I know it is way out of era, but Jagged Fel in a Chiss Clawcraft, or Jaina Solo in an X wing might be worthy of a PS9.
