In the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millenium, There is Only War...

War has come to the Traxis Sector, seven forces vie for control of the sector and its strategic resources, but who will prevail?

Welcome everyone to Season 1 of the Traxis War, a living campaign for the Warhammer 40,000: Conquest LCG. Through your battles will the fate of the Traxis Sector be decided, that is until the next season begins.

The objective is simple, the faction that captures the most planets will be the victor. To achieve this objective you must submit battle reports of your victories, and the faction with the most victories at a planet at the end of a season will capture it. Each campaign season will last for 3 months.

Below is a sample battle report, simply copy and paste it into your reply, and change the appropriate information to reflect the game of Warhammer 40,000: Conquest you played.

In the above example you can see the battle was fought at Atrox Prime (determined by the submitting player who won), that Phaedros was playing Chaos with Ork allies, and the result was a victory for Chaos (not Chaos and Orks.)

To elaborate, the victorious player will submit a battle report of the game, he may choose which planet the battle was fought on, and his main faction alone will have a victory added to the campaign log.

[Note: You may submit up to 10 battle reports per week.]


And now for a short Q&A:

Q. How many games per week can players play?
A. A player may submit up to 10 battle reports per week.

Q. If there's a limit, do players need to register?
A. The only registration required is the one to use the FFG Forums.

Q. Will players send their own reports in? Do both players need to send a report?
A. Only the victor will need to submit a battle report.

Q. Are games played on OCTGN legal?
A. Yes.

Q. Blackmane is likely going to come out during the campaign, are cards from that set (and any other releases during the campaign) legal?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you pick one Warlord for the campaign?
A. No. You may report for any faction or combination of factions you wish.

Q. How do you decide which planet you are battling for?

My Lords,

Victory has been achieved on the planet Barlus. Brother Archivist Pontius has noted that the Xenos threat came from two distinct factions. This information will be transferred to the Inquisition when they arrive. Rumor Control- Word has reached us that Ragnar Blackmane and his company are to be arriving within a fortnight. We believe that this is nothing short of a massive waste of the Emperor's resources. Captain Sicarius believes this will be a short and definitive exercise, and that utilizing the Space Wolves unadvised, since the war will be over before they can possibly assist.
