Trustn1 0 Posted October 23, 2014 Hey all just a quick question on reaction chains. If i have Shrine of Warpfire and Murder Cogitator in play which do i resolve first. or would resolving one reaction prevent the other from occurring. Shrine of Warpfire: Reaction After an enemy unit is destroyed, exhaust this support to return the topmost Tzeentch card from your discard pile to your hand. Murder Cogitator: Reaction: After a Cultist or Deamon Unit you control leaves play, exhaust this support to reveal the top card of your deck. If the card is a "Chaos" unit add it to your hand. Example : Zarathurs's Flamers: is Sacrificed to deal damage to an Eldar Survivalist Zarathurs's Flamers: Triggers Sacrifice and placed in the discard pile (Completing the sacrifice action it is now out of play) Murder Cogitator: Activates its reaction. Eldar Survivalist: is dealt damage from the sacrifice. (The Eldar play chooses or has no shield cards) the unit is destroyed. Shrine of Warpfire: Activates it's reaction reconstituting the Zarathurs's Flamers back into his hand. Is this correct.

Papa Midnight 73 Posted October 23, 2014 These examples are rather educational to come across on this site.

Phaedros 22 Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) @Trustn1: This seems correct as Murder Cogitator would react to the Flamers sacrifice, followed by Warpflame should you kill the target. Edited October 24, 2014 by Phaedros
