At last: Collections in (Yet Another) Squad Builder

Well, I finally got off my duff (who am I kidding?  I'm a software engineer.  I stayed right on my duff) and added support for tracking what expansions you own, and letting you know if the list you're building isn't possible given your expansions.

 

You'll need to be logged in to access and save your collection.

 

I've probably introduced a whole slew of bugs doing this.  As always, bug reports/feedback/suggestions welcome!

I just noticed a small issue, when trying to use 3 Interceptors the builder tells me I can't field it. I assume it is because I only own 2 Interceptor expansions, but I also own 2 Imperial Aces.

Are you trying to field three Alpha or Avenger Squadron Pilots?  Because those two cards are not in Imperial Aces.

Heh, no worries.  This happened during testing, and I too thought there was a problem until I actually bothered to look at what came with Imperial Aces.

 

For some reason, I am having an issue even signing up.

 

Can you describe exactly what's happening?  The expected behavior is you choose one of the OAuth providers (Google, Facebook, Twitter) which opens a new tab/window with that provider's "allow this OAuth client to blah blah" page.  Once you allow permissions there, that tab/window closes and the builder will show you as being logged in.

 

If you have popups blocked, for example, that might cause the provider's login page from being displayed.

This happened to me. It took some weird efforts to get around, I'd have to open the OAuth thing, refresh it, then go back and refresh YASB and blammo! I'd be logged in.

You have ignored my Google messages of late, but I'm glad you are more active here now.

I just noticed today you have the same text repeating for all three of the GR75 title cards.

Copying code as a shortcut will get you every time.

I'm on an ipad and I noticed a couple new bugs.

When adding ships, the first three add normally, but the forth and so on makes the keyboard popup as if i tapped an entry field. If I hit the hide keyboard button it drops down and pops back up instantly. Selecting a ship does make the keyboard disappear.

Selecting Veteran Instincts no longer add the new Pilot Skill number to the ship info section.

Selecting R2 Astromech no longer changes the color of the 1&2 maneuvers to green to the ship info section.

Bringing up the ship info section now requires me to tap the pilot's name, opening the drop down menu, and selecting the pilot again. I use to be able to just tap the Pilot name, which would refresh the info section.

BTW: I really like the app, thanks for providing us with it.

A way to sort or organise saved lists would be great. I also had a bug the other day where i deleted a list, then tried to save a new one with the same name and it wouldn't allow me. Might be a refresh issue but i thought i'd let you know.

Weird. I don't have an iOS device handy at the moment to verify/debug this; I'll try to procure one and reproduce.

Wow. How did no one notice this until now? Fixed. And while I was there I also fixed those messed up GR-75 titles.

I'm planning on adding a search feature to make it easier to find lists. I'll investigate that delete/re-add problem.

I've been having the same issue on an iPhone 5 running iOS7.1 using Safari.

Also, I don't think adding the MF xpac adds 2 Engine Upgrades to your virtual collection. When I try to build a list with 2, the second one goes red and I get the message that I can't field the list.
