Red Castle 3,869 Posted September 1, 2014 It's like golf, people. Lower scores are better. So, can I get negative warning points? Is there a handicap system in place (like a Chardaan Refit)? Just want to point out that your avatar fits perfectly with your name! Now does the name fits the person remains to be seen.

If Sarah Lancaster and Yvonne Strahotski had a TV show where they were TIE pilots who have a change of heart and join the rebellion... ...I would not watch it, because I would have died from excitement. I loved the entire cast of Chuck, it kept me watching even when the show's arc got weaker. They were just so likable! 2 tiefanatic and Bipolar Potter reacted to this

any2cards 2,433 Posted September 2, 2014 I wonder how you get them. Is it straight from 'reported' to warning points, or does a moderator have to intercede? Seeing as I have first hand knowledge, mine came from a moderator. I made a post, with the intention of teasing a friend on this forum, and it was interpreted another way by a moderator. I was assigned a warning point by by that moderator. He and I PM'ed each other, and I explained the situation. His explanation surprised me, as I didn't think my post could be interpreted in the way that he did. But, I am an adult, so I accepted the fact that I may have not been entirely clear that I was teasing. Oh well. Live and learn. Awwhh...poor two cards! That is genuinely sad... Indeed. Now I want to ask the next level question ... how do you get rid of warning points? Do you? Do they stay with you for life? Can you lose one for good behavior? Has anyone ever gone from 1 to zero? And, how many warning points does it take before something else happens? Do you need like 12 before you lose your license to post on X-Wing? Do X amount of warning points result in being banned? Gadge 4,294 Posted September 3, 2014 As mentioned you can only see your own 'warnings' And as mentioned moderator doled out. In the UK there is an airsoft gaming forum that is an by a certain retailer... you can get 'infractions' and warning points just for even hinting that another retailer exists and that they are not the sole source of airsoft stuff in the world. No *that* is such a ridiculous system, even mentioning ebay or a supplier of something they dont even sell can get you banned. I tend to rack up a few warnings a year on there and they seem to dissapear after a while.

The mods are actually on the ball today, which means reporting yourself would just be a waste of their time.

The mods are actually on the ball today, which means reporting yourself would just be a waste of their time. Hey man, You've been around the block a few times on this forum. Is there any trend that emerges from the mods' behavior? It seems like they sometimes swoop in and delete threads, but most of the time the threads are just left to themselves regardless of how out-of-control they are.
