Friend's question

Recommended Posts

Okay I know the rules state that you can only put friends down whose level is +1 then the friend already on the field, so if no  friends you can only put a lv 1 or another lv 0, and if a lvl 1 friend is on the field you can only put lvl 0, 1, and 2.  What I want to know is if you only have a lvl 3 friend on the field, say lvl 3 goofy, can you put  a lvl 0 or 1 friend down?  Because I don't know if you can put any lvl less than the friend you have on the field, such as a lvl 0 mickey and lvl 1 donald on the field when you only have a lvl 3 goofy on the field.  Thank you.

think of friends as a hierarchy scale if you have a 3 out you can play 0s and 1s-you can always play 0s and 1s right from your hand.  so if you have a lvl 4 you can get any friend out.  ex i have cloud lvl 4 and a bunch of other friends out and i use all of them to attack heartless-the rest get discarded except cloud- i can then play any lvl 0 1 2 3 friends that i want.  to clarify that becasue i have lvl 4 cloud i can play any level friend card -0 1 2 3 4 friends- hope this helps

oh yea you can also play lower levels of the same friend in play ex you play Donald duck lvl 4 you can then proceed to play donald duck lvl 1 if you want.  the lvl 4 gets discarded.  it is generally a bad idea to do that unless each card has a special effect like donald duck lvl 4 lets use search a magic card well if you would want to play donald duck lvl 3-draws 1 card- even if you have donald lvl 4 out
