Arkaidos 0 Posted August 27, 2014 One of our players recently started up a new Astropath character, and has been making use of the new Astropath shipboard actions from the Navis Primer. My question is: Should he be able to roll Invocation prior to performing actions such as Flash Fire or Ill Omens? My rationale is that the Voidmaster cannot Aim before he performs a Ballistic Skill action shooting the ship guns, nor can the Explorator roll Logic prior to Aiding the Machine Spirit, so why should the Astropath be allowed to perform Invocation? Errant 185 Posted August 27, 2014 I'd lean towards it not working, simply because Invocation's bonus only lasts until the next round for ground combat.
