I will say this about him saying the greetings,  he's been doing it since 2009 from what I can see.  So he's not doing it to purposely piss people off on these forums, However I would not be surprised from all the scam forums I've read that he isn't doing it to sound more "foreign".

This in mind, if he's actually scammed people, than ire towards him is justified by proxy, oddly enough.

Can't comment on the scam stuff, but the one post I commented on him negatively was due to his multiple redundant posts/new threads that clog the forum. If he is a longtime forum user, he should know common courtesy.

Some people, Brits especially I think, habitually end their writings with "Cheers".  I thought of it as kind of the same thing.

I'd like to point put that 'cheers' is a slang way of saying thank you in England and Scotland (but not commonly in Wales or Northern Ireland as far as I have experianced but of you are from either of those countries and I'm wrong then feel free to correct me). Writing 'cheers' after a post is like saying "Thanks for reading" which is a perfectly acceptable way to finish a post. In my daily life I must say 'cheers' dozens of times as a response to someone helping me or just generally as a polite and friendly way of thanking someone, so to us in England and Scotland (I differentiate because I hate being referred to as a Brit, I'm English not British.) It's not just a toast.

Again, someone politely told him that he was misspelling the word and that something like that should go in his signature, not be retyped into the post body every time because it was kinda annoying and he said something along the lines of "I know it's annoying and spelled wrong, I do it anyway, just because." It was only afterward that things started to heat up against him.

Myself, I don't particularly care. The misspelled signature is a minor annoyance, and I have plenty of larger annoyances in my life to worry about. I do find his posts to be argumentative and contrary, seemingly for no reason, but half the time they are so incomprehensible (presumably due to 2nd language issues, for which I don't blame him) that I can't even follow what he is saying, so I just ignore him.

Exactly, some people were late to the party apparently so they think everyone just ganged up on a foreigner haha. Not the case especially because there are plenty of people from the around the world that frequent this site and there is rarely any qualms. His attitude could be seen in his posts and that's when things started. His "oh that bothers you huh? Let me do it more then" attitude is what got him into trouble. Hello everyone, I know personally kaxel vofer, we are from Mexico, unfortunately, that person is rude, he has been banned from several stores for their discourteous and sneaky way of playing, also google his name Kaxel Vofer, and confirm the fraud of star wars mini and many people of Mercadolibre (kind of ebay) comment negatively, returning to the main topic,only ignore his posts, but do not buy or exchange things with him

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that this Kaxel fella is a straight up fraud. I would bet that this person can speak and type perfectly fine english. Seems to me that this is all just a persona their using. Probably one of many. Of course this is purely speculation.
