JaggedLittleFel 162 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) We all know the new trilogy is coming, but what about the movies set to come out in between the trilogy chapters? (for those that don't know, we are getting a movie a year, alternating between trilogy and stand alone character based films). We only have rumors but they suggest a Fett movie, then a Han movie, then a movie starring the best character, Red 5. I've seen speculation here that the trilogy itself won't introduce loads of new ships (like the originals didn't) which makes sense to me. But if these other movies are going to delve back into the heart of the rebel vs imperial conflict maybe these are the ones that are going to lead to cool models for us. If the rumors are accurate that's 2 fringe setting movies (calling all scum). And a Red 5 movie? (squeals) Edited August 20, 2014 by JaggedLittleFel
Crabbok 9,798 Posted August 20, 2014 Fett and Yoda. And a TIE Advanced movie as well, detailing it's journey to find more play. 8 The Amazing Flight Lizard, EvilEd209, Punning Pundit and 5 others reacted to this
Takeda 257 Posted August 20, 2014 I'm all for a Boba fett movie. As far as a movie set around the rebels , nope. Bunch of hippies in orange jump suits. 3 Punning Pundit, The Amazing Flight Lizard and tiefanatic reacted to this
tiefanatic 453 Posted August 20, 2014 A Fett movie might be interesting because we might get to see Manda'yaim, but as for Han and Red 5, no. I am SOOOOO sick of scum being the main characters.
markcsoul 2,122 Posted August 20, 2014 If they can get Temuera Morisson or however you say his name back to do a Boba Fett movie I'd be game. Young Yoda during the old republic days would be great too. Young Han? Eh, maybe.
TomasB 100 Posted August 20, 2014 A young Han earning his bloodstripes, washing out of imperial military service, saving chewie, and winning the Falcon off Lando should be plenty of material for a young Han movie. oh, they need to show him taking his iconic vest from Greedo. 2 KCDodger and Punning Pundit reacted to this
Levi Porphyrogenitus 877 Posted August 20, 2014 I'd love to see a Boba Fett movie set post-Sarlaac, to shut up the "Boba Fett died" crowd definitively. 4 Jo Jo, IronTau, tiefanatic and 1 other reacted to this

Robin Graves 6,050 Posted August 20, 2014 Ok serious this time. We need a how Han met Chewie movie. Boba movie is awesome, As long as he already has the armor, doesn't take of his helmet and we don't get traumatic flashbacks of his dad head getting lightsabered off. Not sure i am if, i can stand a movie in which the protagonist, like this he talks. hrmmmhm. Is anybody waiting for a Yoda movie? Yoda "arrived on dagobah i have" Me; "hey this movie aint so bad..." One and half hours later... Yoda " strong the dark side is here, train like a padawan i must" me" gaaah stop talking! make it stop, make it stop!" 3 Millennium Falsehood, tiefanatic and Herowannabe reacted to this
Herowannabe 4,314 Posted August 20, 2014 I know we're all dying to find out exactly what happened to Jar Jar Binks after the prequel trilogy. KIDDING! KIDDING! Don't hate me! I heard rumors that one of them might be an Obi-Wan movie, which could be interesting. I don't know though, I kinda feel like we got plenty of background on him in Clone Wars already. 2 NotBatman and Robin Graves reacted to this

You are a braver man than I, bringing up Jar Jar. Altough Robot chicken already nailed it: jar jar shows up on darth vaders bridge intent on haning out with annakin, so vader shoves him out of an airlock. The good thing is jar jar freezes to death in the cold vacuum of space... The bad thing is he comes back as a force ghost. "yaay Anni mesa sparkly glowly now we can play forever! yaaay!" 2 Herowannabe and Millennium Falsehood reacted to this
Hobojebus 11,341 Posted August 20, 2014 Urgh just because marvel is pulling off two a year does not mean every franchise should, maybe they can do it but I've seen pirates of the Caribbean and that went down hill when they decided to film back to back. NotBatman 698 Posted August 20, 2014 I would LOVE an Obi-Wan movie. He was just about the only redeeming factor in the prequel trilogy, though even there he suffered from poor writing/directing. I want more Obi-Wan. (Related: Are there good books that cover this sort of ground?)

Some of the prequel books have good Obi-wan stuff, off the top of my head try The Approaching Storm, Labyrinth of Evil, and the Ep3 novelisation(which is surprisingly good and proves that the film just needed a competent director). 1 NotBatman reacted to this
Crabbok 9,798 Posted August 21, 2014 Nothing that is a prequel. At all. I don't want to know how it ends. I want to believe that the main character COULD blow up the entire universe at some point in the film.

Robin Graves 6,050 Posted August 27, 2014 I would like to see how Han saved chewie from those slavers and they became BFFs. And i heard rumour that darth vader will be in the movies.
