Corradus 68 Posted August 17, 2014 So, we have a dice roller for smartphones, but not everyone has a smartphone or a tablet. Frankly I believe you're more likely to find laptops and even desktops at a game than you are smartphones and tablets. That being the case, isn't it time somebody from FFG took a look at a Dice App for Windows? Can it be that hard to take the one you have already and alter it so it works on Windows? I mean, it's snazzy and well done, but it's not the mainframe OS at NORAD or anything, it can't be that hard to do can it? Come on, guys, it's time isn't it?For those who might suggest Android Emulators for the PC, I tried Bluestacks but it makes my PC crash for reasons known only to it and Almighty God....Pretty Please? 1 knasserII reacted to this

Kallabecca 983 Posted August 17, 2014 I've written one as well. Doesn't have any fancy graphics, but I prefer simple to pretty. 1 Corradus reacted to this
knasserII 2,557 Posted August 18, 2014 I know it's not quite what was asked for but it's not very well known and deserves more coverage - there's an EotE dice roller for Windows Phone. Just search for Edge of the Empire in the store and it will show up. Very nice, very quick and looks good. Something for those of us with Windows phones anyway. 1 Synge reacted to this
Skie 209 Posted August 18, 2014 One of the main reasons I chose an adroid phone over a windows phone a few months ago was the apparent lack of EotE dice roller for the latter... When GMing I really prefer to roll the dice on the phone - much faster, can save pools etc etc.
ShadoWarrior 403 Posted January 24, 2017 How about a Windows EotE dice app that works offline?
themensch 3,092 Posted January 24, 2017 What I would love would be a shared online app, much like our beloved Hangouts app that's going to go away. I don't need to share maps or character sheets, I just need to be able to quickly roll dice so my buddies can see. There are a couple that are close, but most are either entirely overkill (VTTs) or not quite enough (forum dice rollers or standalones.) Being the only remote player for my former in-person group has provided some unique challenges. 1 BrickSteelhead reacted to this
ShadoWarrior 403 Posted January 24, 2017 For online it doesn't get much better than Orokos.com, which maintains records of everything that's rolled and allows you to paste BBcode roll results into forums.

True, but I still have to go to the site, do my roll, get the link, then IM it to my group. It's a little clunky in my use case, whereas a chat window isn't.
