Campaign: Battle for Bastion

Battle for Bastion Battle for Dhoxa is a two-player (Imperials vs. Rebels) narrative campaign consisting of 4 or 5 stages, with a total of 9 missions. The missions can also be run as stand-alone scenarios.

As of today, this campaign is untested and the missions may be totally out of balance. (A little bit of imbalance is intended on some missions, but too much imbalance is bad.) If anyone gets a chance to play this and has suggestions for improving it, please let me know by email or PM.

I think the biggest thing that makes these types of scenarios fun is that they change the behavior of the game.  The targets are different.  It doesn't JUST feel like a 6a100ptdeathmatch.

Perhaps it's been changed, but I see nothing about Vader in Mission 2A... or any other mission for that matter.

Rebels: Up to 125 points. This squad must contain exactly 3 ships, and all must have small bases. At least 1 ship must have a crew slot with no upgrade card assigned to it.

 

How? Only the HWK and B-wing/E (which we don't have yet) fit that mould, and HWKs are cheap. You'd have to go completely mad on upgrades to do this.

I'll add a special rule that if the LCS voluntarily or accidentally damages itself (running into asteroids, Darth Vader crew) that all Imperial ships receive a stress token as well (or maybe instead).

Loremeister Mikael Hasselstein has pointed out that there is no Bastion Sector, and that Bastion was some secret code-name for some thing or other that took place long after the Galactic Civil War.

 

So I'm going to play it safe and continue to make up Star Warsy names for sectors and systems. The new name for this campaign is Battle for Dhoxa, and the PDF has been updated with a little change to Mission 2A. All instances of "Bastion" have been purged (I think) and the old link will not work.
