League Achievement List

Hi guys, so I've been tasked with throwing together an achievement list for my local X-wing leagues, have a few put together already but would like your input on what I'm missing. Would like them to try an not be too ship or faction dependant (aside from the Squad specific ones which I tried to leave fairly flexible).

Have a look and let me know what I'm missing!

General League Achievements

  • Flight Instructor: Teach a new player how to play
  • Rookie Pilot: Bring a new player to League Night

Play Achievements

  • Direct Hit!: Destroy a ship from full hp to dead in a single shot
  • Marksmanship: End an attack roll with at least 3 crits
  • Weapon Malfunction :End an attack roll with all blanks on atleast 4 attack dice
  • Determination: Roll all blanks and then all hits/crits with a Gunner/Luke roll
  • Pushing the Limit: Perform 4 actions with a single ship in a single round
  • Elusiveness: Win without losing a ship
  • Adrenaline Rush: Win with only a single ship left that also only has one hull left
  • Stunned Pilots: Cause atleast 3 enemies ships to bump in a single round (including into each other if you caused the initial bump)
  • Navigator: Block all decloak options for a cloaked Phantom, forcing it to remain cloaked (include asteroids)
  • Avenger Squadron: Kill the ship that destroyed one of your ships with that same ship
  • Damaged Engine: Cause an enemy ship to leave the board (either by blocking or ion tokens)
  • Saboteur: Cause an enemy ship to have at least 3 or more stress tokens
  • Structural Damage: Cause an enemy ship to have at least 3 face up crit cards (while still alive)
  • Fire Control Systems: Amass 4 red target lock tokens on a single enemy ship
  • Deadeye: Kill a ship while it's cloaked or still has it's stealth device
  • Munitions Failure: Have a Munitions Failure crit remove an upgrade from an enemy ship
  • Injured Ace: Reduce the PS of an enemy pilot from 8 or higher to 0 with the Damaged Cockpit crit. 
  • Minor Explosions: Kill 3 enemy ships in a single round
  • Daredevil: Fly a ship with 1 hull remaining through or on top of an asteroid or proximity mine and survive
  • Exposed: Attack an enemy ship who rolls 0 defense die.
  • Opportunist: Roll 6 attack dice in a single attack
  • Tactician: Kill an enemy ship in the activation phase (asteroids don't count)
  • Wingman: Kill a friendly ship and an enemy ship at the same time (Vader, Bombs, Assault Missles)
  • Predator (1/2/3/4/5): Destroy (5/10/20/35/50) enemy ships over the course of the season
  • Evade: Take zer odamage in a round in which your ships are shot at at least 4 times
  • Decoy: Win a game in which your only ship remaining was your most expensive ship.
  • Expert Handling: Win with all ships at full shields and with no damage cards on any of your ships
  • Draw Their Fire: Win a game with no damage cards on any of your ships 
  • C-3PO: Win a game after winning initiative by at least 3 pts.
  • Advanced Sensors?: Perform an action on a ship before revealing it's dial.
  • Sensor Jammer: Block or Ion an enemy ship so that it lands on an asteroid
  • Outmanuever: Kill an enemy ship equipped with a turret or that has front and rear arcs while outside of all of it's arcs.

Squad Achievements

  • Intelligence Agent: Record a win with a squad from each faction during the season
  • Rebel Operative: Fly every Rebel ship (excluding huge ships) at least once during the season
  • Royal Guard: Fly every Imperial ship at least once during the season
  • Veteran Instincts (1): Fly a squad composed only of ships introduced in Wave 1 (upgrades/pilots can be from any wave)
  • Veteran Instincts (2) :Fly a squad composed only of ships introduced in Wave 2 (upgrades/pilots can be from any wave)
  • Veteran Instincts (3) :Fly a squad composed only of ships introduced in Wave 3 (upgrades/pilots can be from any wave)
  • Veteran Instincts (4) :Fly a squad composed only of ships introduced in Wave 4 (upgrades/pilots can be from any wave)
  • Recon Specialist: Fly a squad composed of at least 4 different types of ships
  • Prototype Pilot: Field a ship equipped with at least 4 different upgrade cards

Casual Achievements

  • Reinforce: Play a game with at least 200pts per side (can be more than 2 player)
  • Tactician: Play a mission scenario from one of the rulesets or created by a player
  • Bounty Hunters: Play a free for all game with at least 3 players

True, guess there's no reason not to have some low reaching ones worth a small amount of pts to get people into it. The achievements are actually going to translate into loyalty pts worth credit instore so don't want there to be a ton of them but 1-5 ships destroyed worth 1-5 pts seems legit.

Just wondering.. what is the point of this?  Is it for the glory?  Is there a prize for completing some or all of the achievements?

 

I like the idea, and may steal it for our group, with some tweaks of course.

Just a couple off the top of my head

 

Not A Scratch: Win a match without suffering any damage

Flawless Victory: Win a match without suffering any damage or losing any shields

 

Eye For An Eye: While under simultaneous attack rule, destroy the ship that has destroyed you

Serious Gambler I/II/III: Consecutively avoid suffering damage from Console Fire on a single ship 1/2/3 times in a match

Hot Hands (Attack): In a single combat round, have all ships roll perfect {hit} or {crit} without rerolling or modifying any dice

Hot Hands (Defense): In a single combat round, have all ships roll all evades without rerolling or modifying any dice

Porkins I/II/III: In a match lose (one/two/three) of your ships to anti pursuit lasers

Just wondering.. what is the point of this?  Is it for the glory?  Is there a prize for completing some or all of the achievements?

 

I like the idea, and may steal it for our group, with some tweaks of course.

 

Mentioned it above but each achievement will basically award loyalty points to the player which can then be converted into store credit at the end of the season.

Maybe an achievement for

 

Brave: Winning a game with a squad of 96 or fewer

Very brave: Winning a game with a squad of 92 or fewer.

Showing Off:  Winning a game with a a squad of 88 or fewer.

 

Slight miscalculation: Fly a small ship off the map

Large Miscalculation: Fly a Large ship off the map

Epic Miscalculation: Fly a HUGE ship off the map.  

 

Jar Jar Binks: Win a game, after flying at least 30 points worth of ships off the map.  

Pinball Wizard: Hit every asteroid on the map in a game... with the same ship. 

 

Maybe some named achievements too from the films?   Like have Han/Chewie shoot Vader, or Biggs protect Luke?

Hmmm I want to keep them natural to competitive game play a bit, also trying to keep players from being forced to run specific pilots too much so a few of those might not be exactly what I'm looking for but they're decent ideas. I like the point total ideas, maybe something like "Win initiative by at least 3 points".

twitch gamer: manage to not bump any ships while measuring range / moving ships for the entire season.

this would help encourage people to be extra cautious while moving ships from that middle cluster on turn 3 or 4..

Ion a ship off the board

Destroy a full health ship in one shot with a secondary weapon 

Destroy a ship with less attack dice than defense dice rolled. 

Choose the maneuver for a stressed ship that your opponent revealed a red maneuver for.

Win a match with your last ship against at least 3 other ships.

As Luke destroy Vader or as Vader destroy Luke.

As Wedge destroy Soontir Fel or as Soontir Fel destroy Wedge.

Same can be done for Boba Fett and Han, and a few others who had rivalries. 

Destroy an enemy ship who still has one or more shield tokens (Proton Bomb)

Re-roll a hit to a crit (not change, but with an actual roll)

Destroy 5 ships or more with a single ship in a single game.

 

Beat the store champion

A couple of fun ones from the league we just wrapped:

 

Console Gamer (XYAB): Field a squad that includes one X-Wing, one Y-Wing, one A-Wing and one B-Wing.

 

90 vs 100: Win a match against a 100-point squad with a 90-point squad.
