Duckman2 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Couldn't help but have a go. It's such a neat interaction. Temujin** 6HS 26V (Air/Fire/Good) 4x Olcadan's Mentoring 0/6 +0L (Infinity) 4x Tag Along 5/4 (Air/Good) 4x Oratorio Halcyon 5/3 5M4 C(M, M) W +2M (Air)4x Execution Technique First Rite 4/3 3L3 S:2 W +2L (Air)4x Execution Technique Second Rite 5/3 4H3 +2H (Air)4x Execution Technique Third Rite 5/3 4M6 C(LW, HW) 4x Nursing a Grudge 2/5 (Air)4x The Forgotten Technique 3/5 (Air)4x Trained Far and Wide 3/4 +4H (Air)4x Wind Dance 2/4 +3m (Air)4x Lord of the Makai 2/6 +1M (Air)4x Tira's Contract 3/5 +1L (Air)4x Powerful Style 0/5 +2M (Air)4x Return to Southtown 1/6 +0H (Air)4x Soul of Ling-Sheng Su 2/6 +2H (Air) Pretty self-explanatory. Had a real difficult time picking the Character, I wanted a larger HS (Talim: or a draw ability but Temujin's 2 abilities pretty much create a second kill condition. Tried to fit in as many ways to get combo pieces as I could in, and the rest was Air's usual janky stuff. I'll mention a few cards for their interactions. Tag Along - good defense but mostly here for the recursion. Oratorio Halcyon - works off Second Rite's E creating an alternative kill with Temujin's Powerful E (this is where rearranging the pool will help, as it means I can then still throw Third Rite and use the combo ability), it has both Weapon and combo for Nursing a Grudge and can also be Combo after Third Rite as another kill. Trained Far and Wide - really useful if I manage to string several Rites and a Halcyon together. Does anyone think Ulterior Motives would be good in this? It's a great searcher for the Second or Third Rite, but another 3CC would bite. Anyway, suggestions or critues away.
MarcoPulleaux 0 Posted May 1, 2009 My main concern is simply that, with a built-in Powerful: 3, it almost makes Execution's multiples look useless. Good deck all around for what you wanted, and I'm so glad you made sure to include Lord of the Makai lol.
