Trouble Staying Logged In

Recommended Posts

I'm having an odd annoying problem staying logged into these forums.  It seems that i can only stay logged in for aproximatly 5 minutes.  After that time, if I clisk on a topic or refresh the page, i am logged out and returned to the main ffg page.   What am I doing wrong?

And yes, cookies are enabled and kept untill they expire.  The cookie I have from fantasyflightgames is set to expire on 12/08/09.  Is there something else that I have overlooked, a new feature on the boards that I need to enable, or something else?

Yet another with the same problem. Well, almost- I find I get logged out after every post I make, and each time I try to change forum/subforum, regardless of how much time I spent there.

well i sent an email using the support page. so if they didnt know about the issue they do now. hopefully its fixed soon cause its pretty annoying.

Oh, didn't think to do that.  I figured posting on the support forums would be enough.  Thanks for that!

It is really annoying.  Wile it's nothing board breaking, it's like being stuck on the bus sitting next to a gum smacker.  Chew chew chew snap, chew chew chew snap.  It doesn't alter anything in your life or change the course of your day but I'll be damned if you don't spend the whole trip grinding your teeth daydreaming of snapping their neck.

yeah it works, i got a response back thanking me for alerting them to the problem. ive noticed that even though ffg is slow with news sometimes and stuff gets delayed they actually listen. im always bothering them with emails and junk if it seems important they have always been kind and stuff in their replies, so i keep emailing them when i think its helpful.

Originally I had changed the FFG favorites link when the forum problem surfaced...changing it back has fixed the log out problem for me.

Details of URL change: the header "new" should be subbed in by "www"

change the link from:

from: http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/... (code continues on)

to:

http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/... (code continues on)

That change did the trick for me...now business is back to normal.

I am having the exact same problem except when I try to log in it doesn't log me in right away.

I have to go to FFH home page then browse my way into the forums and it auto logs me in.

This does appear to solve the problem
