OhBee 2 Posted May 21, 2014 Do bombs and mines count as obstacles for the purpose of boosting? If not, am I correct in assuming that a ship can boost through a bomb/mine without detonating it?
DraconPyrothayan 6,107 Posted May 21, 2014 The only things that count as obstacles are Asteroids. Bomb tokens do not count as overlapping as far as any non-detonation mechanic is concerned. You are perfectly welcome to boost or barrel-roll through them. In fact, this is one of the ways to keep a Proximity Mine from killing its intended target. 1 OhBee reacted to this

The newest FAQ changed Proximity Mines, they now detonate whenever a base or maneuver template overlaps them, not just when a ship executes a maneuver and the base or template overlaps. They still don't count as obstacles, though. 1 SableGryphon reacted to this
OhBee 2 Posted May 21, 2014 Oh, it DOES say that. Seems like it's fair, though not in my favor. Thanks for the clarification!
