Yorec 0 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) As the title says I was curious if there are any tourneys in the Van Nuys or Sherman Oaks area in Los Angeles. I've gotten into the game recently but haven't been able to find out if any of the local game stores host tournaments for it. Games Empire in Pasadena is probably the closest game store to you. I think they still hold some netrunner events there. I am planning on meeting up with other players next month at Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove, but that is quite a ways from where you are. I think there are some players that also meet up in Aero Hobbies in Santa Monica as well, but I have not been there. There is also a BBG guild page for some of us, but it has not been updated too recently: http://boardgamegeek.com/guild/1402 The upcoming Strategicon (http://www.strategicon.net/index.php) also has some netrunner events, but I do not believe they are tournaments. Hopefully this gets you pointed in the right direction. I am also looking to get back on the tournament scene myself after a long absence.
