Your speculations on the walking machine-city of Ambulon

It's in the corebook, in the Calixis chapter, under Scintillia, not a lot of information is given though :( Although upper class areas capable of freezing people to death do sound fun :D

Yup, the core book dose have some nice nuggets tucked away... though I think you've gotten part of Tarsus mixed up with Ambulon ;-)

Oop! My bad! I'm still plunkin' away at the core book, so I'm not there yet. I'll look for it.

If you're a fan of the concept of Ambulon, I'd definitely recommend the Mortal Engines books (Hungry city chronicles in the US).

Hell, I'd recommend them anyway. They are some fantastic books.

I guess everyone's noticed the pun in Ambulon's name though?

Another Ambulon story comes to mind.

A few months ago I ran a campaign where a rogue faction of tech-priests attempted to make a cogitation engine so powerful it could contain the mind of the Omnissiah.  Phase two of their Heresy was going to involve building/finding a body worthy of such a mind.  Ambulon might be a good place to install such a thing.
