New Han Solo build

I flew a new Han Solo squadron last night. I'm calling it Han Moves First.

 

Step 1. Field a squad consisting of Han Solo.

Upgrades and support ships I leave up to you, but Han Solo is essential to the Han Moves First build.

 

Step 2. As soon as your Shields have been destroyed, suffer a critical hit and draw the Injured Pilot card.

 

Step 3. On the next attack against Han, suffer another critical hit and draw the Damaged Cockpit card. 

 

 

With these three simple steps, you too can have a Han Solo with PS 0, no pilot ability, and no elite talent!!!!!!

 

 

 

In all honesty, even after Han took those crits, he still performed pretty admirably. On the turn after taking the first crit he scored 3 hits on a B-Wing, which destroyed it, and got 3 more hits on another B-Wing the following turn. But he finally got killed b/c that second B-Wing got to shoot before he attacked at PS 0.  If he'd still shot first, he most likely would have killed that B-Wing instead, which would have left me with all of my ships vs my opponent's Chewie. But instead Han went down in flames, and on the next turn his B destroyed one of my remaining ships before it could shoot too. My remaining ship took out his B-Wing, but that left me in a 1 on 1 match-up between a stock Blue B-Wing and Chewbacca w/only 1 Shield gone. I didn't have a chance.

At least with a B wing you could have barrel rolled out of Chewie's firing arc...oh wait.

If you can get Han to be in range of Proton Bombs you could have Han Moves First still with full shields!
