realsoupersand got a reaction from weebaer in Looking for more Rebel advice (Op Luke, Wonder Twins, etc.)
I've never been a fan of snipers at all because of their pitiful damage output, so I'm happy to see that there are others put there who feel that Rebel (and Imp) snipers are underwhelming. I've included at least 2 in all my lists for activations and because people say you need to, but I really feel like I'd rather just have 1. I don't feel like replacing them with another mediocre naked trooper unit is necessarily correct, but at least troopers can be used to take objectives and act as meat shields.
I could pretty easily drop a sniper from the lists I have that don't have R2 and put R2 in there instead. I think I'll do that.

Good luck in all your games! Show those Imperials how we do it in the Rebel Alliance!

Following. Does anyone have a similar breakdown for Rebels? I'm currently running with Cassian and Operative Luke, but I'd love to see what people think about all the commanders and operatives.

Same. Following because I want to see what people have to say.
I have a couple of Cassian & Luke lists, both 792 points with 10 activations, that I'm currently treating as my main army, but I've only played a single game with Luke and none with Cassian yet. I'm a Legion noob, so I don't know how good these are:
List 1:
Cassian Andor [112 Points]: A280, Hunter, Offensive Push, Recon Intel
Luke Skywalker [224 Points]: Force Push, Force Reflexes, Tenacity
R2-D2 [50 Points]: C-3PO
4x Rebel Troopers [40 Points each]
Rebel Commandos [48 Points]: DH-447 Sniper
2x Tauntaun Riders [99 Points each]: Comms Jammer, Tenacity
2:
Replaced both Tauntauns with 2 rotary AT-RTs, 1 trooper with a sniper, R2 with K-2 (Jyn's blaster, Comms Jammer), and added Saber Throw (or Jedi Mind Trick) to Luke

realsoupersand reacted to buckero0 in Critique my Iden Coordinate List
I had built a similar list last night but without the Officer and 3rd troopers (I don't own 3 sniper or 3 shoretroopers)
I put Bossk in and Inferno in as well and points were tight.
Veers is usually how I see Iden played.
I don't play tournaments, so we must be thinking something similar

I think if activation control is what your going for veers is better with imperial discipline to refresh your control and give you two turns of absolute control. I would suggest this list from the gencon tournement. The list uses iden as an toolbox piece having alot of options to meet the table and opponent with the correct loudout and let's veers and the shores hammer the opponent with full control for 2 turns with imperial discipline refreshing two up links. Iden and veers compliment each other command card wise with iden having 2 two pip cards replacing veers lack luster card. Just play carefully with iden so she doesnt get stranded and killed easily.

Cool. Thanks for the advice! I'm going to work on an Officer list and a Leia list with that in mind.
