If standby lasted more than one round, it'd definitely be broken. Any unit with an objective token could just take a standby while out of sight, and then single/double move the next round into melee with a weakened unit and be completely safe from being shot at even if the unit they're engaged with withdraws.

That sounds like it could've been fantastic (or not, prequels similarly have an interesting story in the Clone Wars but a poor execution in the movies). It would've given the Sequel Trilogy an even better entry into Legion as well, what with the different troop options you'd get from an underworld faction against the New Republic (instead of Empire and Rebellion 2.0). I wasn't expecting to be disappointed over something that doesn't exist, but here we are.

It's a four part series called Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir I believe, if that helps narrow the search down. Part 1 is set right after the Clone Wars episode "Lawless".

Legion doesn't have Maul as a "Darth" either. He's just "Maul".

The answer should be patently obvious. Use the double bladed saber pose for both his right and his left arms. He should be holding a double bladed saber in front of him and behind him.

Another thing I noticed, he's just "Maul" on his card. Not "Darth Maul". Potential future-proofing for an eventual Commander expansion for a Scum faction? So that the command cards could be used with the ol' CIS Operative? Maybe not, since that'd break the usual rule of not having to buy an expansion outside of a faction, but still...it was a thought.

Well, my CIS army just got a 160 point tax. I'm perfectly happy with that. Now to figure out what I can field each time with the remaining 640 points.

Electrobinoculars lets one of your units get an aim for an action and costs more than just adding another B1. If the viper droid gets you two observe tokens, that's putting a target on an enemy that any of your units can spend as necessary, plus an additional wound for the squad the droid is in. That's far better than the binoculars, depending on how much it costs.

Iden yes, but Kallus actually had defected before even the first Death Star was destroyed. I still think it makes sense to portray him as an Imperial though.

Interesting. I wonder what the common thread between these two is. Double agents, perhaps?
