The Warthog in that video reminds me of the Virpil ones I was considering for space sim gaming(not getting any EA game). Virpil is definitely out of a $195 budget though, you won't even get the base plate for that.

28 with Besh would be quite underpriced indeed.

Preaching to the scum choir there. Still, that device slot does have value. If you can field 6 of them with Besh and concussion bombs or thermal detonators... Well, that's a thing.

I think 2 points more than scyk/fo buy in, because of better hp quality, and 1 more initiative. Besh seems worth at least 3 points to me, puts that at 30. Esk is probably worth 1 point, puts that at 28. As for lock being harder than focus, they have linked boost>lock. Also, don't forget that Besh makes them bombers...

Yeah they look like the generic i2 would be worth about 28 points, maybe 27, in light of the v1 baron, an i1 could've gone down to 26, but definitely not 25. PS: and this without config. With config I expect about 28 for Esk, 30 for Besh.

Your list has a disturbing lack of Scurrg and Kimogila. 2 Scurrg and 1 Kimogila is a good addition to any scum player's arsenal. Also 1 jumpmaster, so you can play Dengar/Nom Lumb.

Empire, Scum, FO. Not even a contest. There's some other players around, I know of at least 1 rebel player, 1 republic player, and 1 resistance player, but they don't play as much, and are outnumbered. There's no CIS here. -
50mm/2" is fine for most ships, without bases. 40mm is fine for most small ships. You might want something like 60mm for chunkier stuff like YV-666. 90mm, or two smaller that amount to that on top of eachother lets you fit ships with bases, for ready to play cases.

Saw a game on gold squadron podcast where Dash was paired with Lando, seemed pretty decent.

Looks pretty solid. You could swap the codes for an upgraded cadet, make it Rivas, or replace Holo with Vonreg, or give two cadets ATP. But there's not much else I can see that could improve it without fundamentally altering it.

Card packs (also some tokens, like bombs/mines in fully loaded, and pilot bases in hotshots and aces). Some cards are new/unique to the packs, but most of it is a collection of cards that only appeared in 1-2 ship's packs, so people who don't fly those factions can get them without buying in to another faction.

Aside from conversion kits, you'll probably want to pick up hotshots and aces, fully loaded, and never tell me the odds.

Is there a point value that angled deflectors become viable-ish?

I think at 1 point I could consider it for Torani Kulda, maybe. Or Scurrgs... maybe. Both because they don't necessarily need to use rely on their attacks to do damage. Definitely needs to be cheaper than a hull upgrade to be even potentially worth it.
