  1. I think if you're looking for a second talent for them, deadeye shot is quite nice. Whiff your r1 attack with 1 hit/eye and 2 blanks? Trigger des, then reroll the blanks with heroic. Alternatively starbird slash is very cheeky.

  6. Sounds like a local thing, or just coincidence. The local players for me are mostly chill, the one guy who gets a little bit too into it and takes losing hard plays Resistance. We all play both formats, but most prefer extended. We play a lot of jank and experimental lists.
  7. Nah, maneuver into the side arc obstructed shot, and take focus for double mods. Something Han has trouble getting without bringing along Lando escape craft.
  8. Uhm, it was in Hyperspace until january update this year, despite not being a 2.0 reprint. That said, it isn't in Hyperspace now.

  11. Probably going to be cost prohibitive on the TIE/sa. I'd bet it's going to cost at least 5 points. The TIE/sa should probably use its roll>lock link to get bullseyes with MMPs anyway, when it can. Sidenote: 5x TIE/sa /w MMP, conc bombs, and skiled bombardier is one **** of a list.

  13. I doubt it. Too many new strain giving cards that can be spammed, including slash. Boba needs to roll full greens or he's toast.
  14. I'm more in the not enough camp. Should've priced them out of 6x breakpoint entirely, Stalgasin up 1 more, and Petranaki should've followed. Get ready for a season with 6 Stalgasin lists and 5 Petranaki lists with either Pred+Crack or Gravitic.
  15. I've played with several scenarios. The most oppressive I've played is the bombardment one. Player two is at a significant disadvantage. Played minefield with a quadjumper on my side, and boy could I abuse it. I tractored a ship into a proximity mine, another into two of the cluster mines, and my opponent flew a ship into the other proximity mine on purpose so I couldn't tractor his pocket ace into it.
  16. You could also drop a couple of shields for 3x Discord Missiles, to further stack on the autodamage.
  17. You can probably fit 4 of them, with a quadjumper and Fenn Rau... (unless they price it at 3+ points).
  18. I like the idea of using it in combination with tractor/intimidate/outmanever/etc to make 3 agility point fortresses roll a single green dice(or none). See above with quadjumpers, but it could also be for example Starvipers with outmaneuver. (You could bring 3 mining TIEs with it, to support Outmaneuver Guri and an Outmanuver BSA).
  19. The only thing I'm mad about is no scum pilot card and cardboard for him. The ability will probably be annoying sometimes, but it's not as bad to face as Wedge, or even Outmaneuver, or tractor.
  20. Nah, bring like 4 of them and 2 quadjumpers. Toss a bunch of strain and a tractor token or three on a ship, shoot it a bunch, with -2 AGL. Round out with Torkil Mux(no title), for the initiative kills.
  21. There's some gnarly looking LAAT´ lists in the squad list forum. It really seems like Republic has the new and improved Rebel Beef. As for ARC gunners being too expensive, there's a bunch of great new gunners/crew in the LAAT pack, several look quite undercosted, especially Wolfpack. I wonder when people are going to figure out that R2-D2 Y-wing can have double-tapping ion turret... coming in at 42 points. I think there's a lot of new list design space opening up that's very interesting, and aside from brute force beef and force multiplier lists, we're going to see new and exciting salads.

This list can both overwhelm with firepower, and hard-counter aces.
  23. When you disengage, have no shots incoming or outgoing, you can take a lock. Also if you have the bullseye full reroll + focus is better than 1 reroll + focus.

  25. A-wing with bomber config? To me they're more like if the TIE/fo (especially with the new "advanced optics" look alike), crossed with the TIE/sa, with boost linked to lock, instead of barrel roll linked to lock. Even a little bit of scyk thrown in there with Esk(ion scyks). I expect them to be good with just config, or as ordnance carriers...(missiles and/or devices). I definitely expect to see the i5s used with proximity mines too. Move last/late, boost into mine layer position.
