  1. I've had a lot of fun with this recently, might want to give it a try: Delta Squadron Pilot (67) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 69 Half Points: 35 Threshold: 4 Delta Squadron Pilot (67) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 69 Half Points: 35 Threshold: 4 Colonel Jendon (48) Passive Sensors (3) Emperor Palpatine (11) Ship total: 62 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 5 Total: 200 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v8ZsZ200Z198X113WWY198X113WWY167X240WW29WWW&sn=Jendon's Defenders&obs=

Was it ever mentioned that it was supposed to be a Hyperspace list? In that case, i woulddo this: Poe Dameron (68) Heroic (1) R4 Astromech (2) Integrated S-Foils (0) Black One (2) Ship total: 73 Half Points: 37 Threshold: 4 Zizi Tlo (40) Heroic (1) Advanced Optics (4) Ship total: 45 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 2 Tallissan Lintra (36) Heroic (1) Advanced Optics (4) Ship total: 41 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 2 Greer Sonnel (36) Heroic (1) Advanced Optics (4) Ship total: 41 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 2 Total: 200 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Resistance&d=v8ZhZ200Z231X172W5WW175WW171WY387X172WWW186Y240X172WWW186Y270X172WWW186&sn=Unnamed Squadron&obs=

If you're playing Nien you definetely want pattern analyzer instead of optics
  4. Yes, but it's so much more than that, because the barons are very flexible too
  5. I like the second list the best. You definetely want to pairthe lieutenants whenever you play them, and Rivas is a pretty good place to send all the unwanted Holo tokens.
  6. Does anyone know the exact list that Stephen Moore was flying? seems really interesting
  7. Just my 2 cents, but how do you set up obstacles? Whenever i play aces (Republic and Imperial) I make sure to bring the biggest rocks available (personally don't like gas clouds) and to make a tight cluster in the middle of the board. The reason is, Aces win by isolating their targets and outmaneuvering them so that ultimately the opponent has poor shots (obstructed, long range, or even both) or no shots at all, while they have decent shots, even if not ideal. Obviously one of your ships has to act as bait, so in your case i would have Vader commit into the field of obstacles, since he is the tankiest of the bunch. As for the other 2 aces, have them circle the field in opposite directions until they find an opening to commit into the obstacle field and deal serious damage without being threatened themselves. If the opponent goes after one of the flankers, you have to either blow past them or turn around quickly enough to not take tough shots. Also,in many cases youhave to take some risks when it comes to PS killing. Often enough your initiative is higher, so you have to try taking out ships before they fire. Aside from all that, I'd also recomend prioritizing killing enemy ships instead of going for points, as aces thrive when facing low numbers
  8. How about this? Major Vonreg (57) Daredevil (2) Ship total: 59 Half Points: 30 Threshold: 2 Lieutenant LeHuse (39) Special Forces Gunner (10) Ship total: 49 Half Points: 25 Threshold: 3 "Scorch" (33) Ship total: 33 Half Points: 17 Threshold: 2 "Muse" (30) Proud Tradition (2) Ship total: 32 Half Points: 16 Threshold: 2 Lieutenant Rivas (27) Ship total: 27 Half Points: 14 Threshold: 2 Total: 200 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=First Order&d=v8ZsZ200Z381X117WWWY397XWWW182WWY262XWWY235X319WWY265XW&sn=Unnamed Squadron&obs= You get Vonreg, 1 SF and 3 FOs. You have the lieutenant combo, which can trigger off of Vonreg, and then the other 2 FOs are very efficient by themselves, and can sometimes even combo decently with eachother.
  9. More punch? Maybe, but with my current list we have 4 3 dice double-modded which, by rebel beef standards, is pretty good already, and there's a good advantage in being able to take pilots with good abilities and high initiative and being able to round up your list with a couple more pieces to give it more edge in specific situations. Still, the Jendon + 4x Tempest is worth exploring
  10. Also, Maarek can either initiative-kill some stuff by shooting at i5 or considerably dampen their offensive potential with some select crits.
  11. That's quite interesting, but i don't think that that's where i wanna go. I really wanted to free up that talent slot so i could take crack shot and have a better bid. Watching Las Vegas Grand Championship right now and it looks like i4 is an important breakpoint. Ved looks awesome in the face of Skull Squadron Pilots, all the Rebel brawlers (Braylen, Ten, Dutch, Garven, Jake...) and some more generics like the i4 silencer and the i4 interceptor if he can give them first player.
  12. I don't understand how this list works. How do the Jedi pass their locks to the Torrents? Why do you want to pass the locks to Torrents? In any case, if you want to mess with sync. console with generics, you can do this instead: Obi-Wan Kenobi (48) Brilliant Evasion (3) R5 Astromech (4) Synchronized Console (1) Ship total: 56 Half Points: 28 Threshold: 2 Blue Squadron Protector (27) Dedicated (1) Concussion Missiles (6) Synchronized Console (1) Ship total: 35 Half Points: 18 Threshold: 3 Blue Squadron Protector (27) Dedicated (1) Concussion Missiles (6) Synchronized Console (1) Ship total: 35 Half Points: 18 Threshold: 3 Blue Squadron Protector (27) Dedicated (1) Concussion Missiles (6) Synchronized Console (1) Ship total: 35 Half Points: 18 Threshold: 3 Blue Squadron Protector (27) Dedicated (1) Concussion Missiles (6) Synchronized Console (1) Ship total: 35 Half Points: 18 Threshold: 3 Total: 196 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Galactic Republic&d=v8ZsZ200Z278X199W6WW211Y320X210W99W211Y320X210W99W211Y320X210W99W211Y320X210W99W211&sn=Unnamed Squadron&obs= The most unexplored part of Republic is dedicated, and this list makes sure that your Torrents can protect each other and also Obi Wan, while at the same time throwing some powerful attacks enabled by synchronized Console. You could also take Homing Missiles instead of Concussion Missiles.
  13. Hey everyone, i have an extended tournament next weekend and wanted to take the Jendon + TIE Advanced/x1s archetype. The reason for that is because i played it this thursday and had a blast with it! I played against a list consisting of Dash, Dutch and Jake, and even though i played really poorly (ate a couple of debris before the first engagement) i still wound up winning 200-73. This is the list that i played: Colonel Jendon (48) Passive Sensors (3) Emperor Palpatine (11) Ship total: 62 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 5 Maarek Stele (45) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 48 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3 Ved Foslo (44) Elusive (3) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 49 Half Points: 25 Threshold: 3 Tempest Squadron Pilot (36) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 38 Half Points: 19 Threshold: 3 Total: 197 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v8ZsZ200Z167X240WW29WWWY174X116W113WWY175X119W113WWY178X113WW&sn=Jendon's X1&obs= Positives and Negatives: + Maarek's and Ved's abilities are really good. Ved's didn't come up much, but Maarek's just pushes so much extra damage by pulling fuel leaks and direct hits from your opponent's decks; - Really wish Maarek wouldn't be the first shooting, because if he is, he is wasting crits onto shields, which is a shame; + Palpatine is a beast, he saved 1 damage everytime, super efficient and flexible, 10/10 taking him on Jendon everytime; - Shuttle's dial is something i still have to get used to, and definitely something experienced players will try to attack; Moving forward i want to have someone that can shoot before Maarek so he can make the most out of his ability. I also want to chop Elusive, because it's just too many points that i really need to move other pieces. Lastly, i'm debating between adding some anti-swarm tech or bumping up the initiative of the generic x1. Here are the 2 options that i've got so far: Colonel Jendon (48) Passive Sensors (3) Emperor Palpatine (11) Ship total: 62 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 5 Maarek Stele (45) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 48 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3 Ved Foslo (44) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 47 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3 Storm Squadron Ace (39) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 42 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 3 Total: 199 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v8ZsZ200Z167X240WW29WWWY174X116W113WWY175X116W113WWY177X116W113WW&sn=Jendon's X1&obs= Colonel Jendon (48) Passive Sensors (3) Emperor Palpatine (11) Ship total: 62 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 5 Maarek Stele (45) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 48 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3 Ved Foslo (44) Crack Shot (1) Fire-Control System (2) Ship total: 47 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3 Tomax Bren (35) Crack Shot (1) Diamond-Boron Missiles (6) Ship total: 42 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 3 Total: 199 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v8ZsZ200Z167X240WW29WWWY174X116W113WWY175X116W113WWY205X116WW238WWWWW&sn=Jendon's X1&obs= The 1st list is the safe choice: keeps the small base symmetry that we have going which doesn't give an obvious 1st target to the opponent, and Jendon and the generic having the same initiative means that we have some flexibility with bumps and whatnot. The 2nd list is somewhat more risky and aggressive: having a ship that shoots before Maarek is good for the reasons already listed, and diamond-boron missiles are no joke, especially against swarms. The biggest issue i have with this list is how obvious Tomax is as a first target: no shields to protect from crits and only 2 agility. From my experience, Tomax really does burn down fast. Which of these lists would you pick? What changes would you make? Personally, I'm more inclined to use the 2nd one, but i'm still going to test a bit before making that call.
  14. I'll do you one better: Rivas moves, takes focus LeHuse moves, takes focus Holo moves, takes lock and focus, and Rivas acquires lock // Lehuse fires double modded 3 dice Holo hits double modded magpulse and depletes the target, Rivas takes a lock Rivas fires double modded 2 dice attack And you can build that list and still have space for daredevil Vonreg
  15. While i understand you wanna play Ahsoka, i think that the jedi with CLT already have very good action economy, so i think i would just try to maximize the initiative of the ships you take so you can get the most of CLT/fine-tuned controls. So i think maybe taking Obi, Plo, Lumi and maybe even Bariss (for once!) might be a good idea, and keep the rest for bid (except maybe r4p17 on obi like @Greebwahn suggested).
