Hi, Armada folks!
I did an LED installation on a Super Star Destroyer for a friend of mine and made a series of instructional videos on how it was done. Thought it might be helpful to anyone who would like to attempt the same.

I was going to post this in the thread that LinoB has to show his stuff, but when I realized it was going to end up on the bottom of page 6 and would get lost in his design photos and images of unpainted 3D prints I figured I'd better make a separate thread for this. 
The detail on this stuff is beyond believe. It makes painting this up a joy, and the end results are very rewarding. If you want to own 3D terrain for Armada, until FFG makes it for us, this is the stuff to get!

I did well! 14th place! I got paired with my buddy @JKShulenburg and had a fun time tabling him. Lost to an SSD and got tabled by someone who knew how to fly an ISD, and won my other game. Twas a blast. 
On both games I won I saved the ISD for last. The one where I was tabled I got caught in the ISD front arc after dealing with the Victory and small ships. Thanks for the tips guys!

Thanks for all the insight guys. I played a game last night with a friend with my new fleet and ignored his doom pickle and took out all his other ships. I won with 102 MOV. Small sample size I know, but I'll definitely take this info to Prime tomorrow! 

Good luck at tomorrow's Prime.  Assuming you will be at Huzzah's I will see you there.  Remember that it is a long day.  Eat a good breakfast, bring water to drink and perhaps some snacks you can grab quickly.

Give this tournament report from GiledPallaeon over at CGYSO describing how he makes decisions in-game. If there was an easy answer to this, the game would be boring.
From before you choose 1st/2nd player to the end of the final activation, you should be continuously assessing what the best way is for you to maximise points, and how best to stop your opponent getting points.
With targeting ships (ignoring the objective game) you have to balance the likelihood of killing something with the chance of killing it with what you might lose in doing so. It will depend on what you have and what they have. It may even change in the middle of a game (if you get a lucky crit, your opponent makes a mistake or does something unexpected).

That won‘t be easy. Magnite Tractor beam is an exhaust and doesn‘t refresh while you‘re speed zero. 
You can pull it off, but you’ll have to change speed constantly from 0 to 1 and back to 0. Hope you don‘t need other commands.

It's that time of the year again folks! Today, I'm introducing our annual community effort to collect as many lists as possible from Prime (formerly Regional) Championships and give us a pulse on the larger health of Armada's meta. My apologies for not making this post before last week's first round of Primes, but I was holding out on today's stream to debut the sheet so i could avoid making changes during the season as much as possible.
I'm in the middle of an accelerated Grad school program this year, so I'm going to need a lot help doing data input. I think they removed the Defensive slot because there are so many ways to gain more defense tokens with this ship. If you have 6 tokens do you need ECM? Where I see the bigger issue is that although the front arc has 6 shields, it is not an ISD front arc, it is tiny and the side arcs are large. 
 
Also, with two starhawks they can alternate going speed zero with the tractor beam so that an enemy ship can be speed zero every turn. One of your starhawks will be vulnerable without using defense tokens but if you can keep that one back a little it would work. 
 
I am not saying this would be competitive, just a fun thought.

For those who don't know, the veil has fallen to reveal a 150 and a 140 point variants of the Starhawk!!
So we can squeeze two of these into a build easy. I am at work but wanted to get the conversation rolling. I am thinking double tractor beam alternating turns so an enemy ship can be permanently speed zero.

I'll point out, I was the dual gladiator in this. And what op left out is that he took his single large ship with redundant shields and then proceeded to actively avoid combat.
