When we are talking about development changes...
Did you know that artwork for Krutzbeck from Treaty of Champions was changed during development? Probably because of a mistake we could see alternative version on the German version of the box:

This artwork can be found in free Genesys Foundry Terrinoth Art Pack, enjoy!

-
Good catch @rugal!
Yeah some compromises have to be made, it is also easier to paint the miniature in this pose.
It is like Leoric of the Book crystal in the left hand and Widow Tarha talisman in the right hand. Miniatures are directly holding it in the hand instead of having it on some chain:

Also Rendiel and Ravaella Lightfoot miniatures from Shadow of Nerekhall are in different pose than on the artwork:

And Zyla have completely different head:

It's probably easier to find in high res.Yeah, this works nicely

24 minutes ago, TryFal said:Upscale is online, the eyes and some other parts need some repairing. But is better that it was I think
Well yeah, I can restore the artwork and paint the missing parts, like I did with the Ravvis for example, but it is quite a work and currently I don't want to bother with this, since I don't even have appropriate miniature.
But feel free to do so, you have photoshop templates in the post above

I simply don't have Brother Glyr artwork in good enough quality 😕

If played with an Overlord, must find a counterpart then
Oh Red Scorpion ❤️ hero that did not make it from conversion kit 😢

Well I do really like Uthuk faction and was excited for some new cool miniatures. They were great in Battlelore and I even like them in Runewars miniature game with the exception of Infantry Command.
This does not looks at Uthuks minis at all.Same with the golem, what happend?

And why all miniature have to have some heroic position with overkill base. I understand that for heroes and bosses, but do common bandits really need that juming flame on their base? And all wolves are showing their asses in the air 👏.

So about Uthuks...

Berserkers now wear ponytail?
And I see that our sexy blood sisters (witches) gets old.

I don't know if this counts, but I have used Runewars Lord Hawthorne sword to replace Alric one 😅 now he has big-*** power sword!

In Heirs of Blood (pages may differ as these are for hardback) page 13 and 68 shows you Sir Alric Farrow or whatever replaced him- yellowgold armour/blue sword guy- but I wonder how many people didn't pay too much attention to his perhaps truer, unmasked earlier form on page 3 as you sometimes take in a story more than its images? Plus Terrinoth really does do big shoulder pads
Merick has got his mask to be virus safe (also p13), but seriously, a virus would probably be more scared of Merick!
Enjoy them in hq:

@Bucho alredy talked about it here, secretly referencing this topic on BGG. Dragon is not named as far as I know.

Thank you all for more contribution! Keep this topic alive!
I added some more fun facts about the Vorakesh here:
-
Runewars Waiqar Infantry Command Unit Expansion necromancer used for Vorakesh proxy

Extra fun facts!
Instead of original artwork from Runebound:

I used one that Anna Christenson published on her ArtStation, but later on she deleted it. In this artwork "necromancer" is in purple and not in red, like in the official Runewars posts (post 1, post 2):

Also the model is the same, but slightly tweaked sculp from the Battlelore 2nd edition Terrors of the Mists. However it is much more larger and detailed (real size matched, even though angle is not 100% correct):

Most matching artwork with this miniature is from Runeage, again in red:

In the Runewars Miniature game he is just unnamed "necromancer" and main undead villain is Ankaur Maro. Users though before the announcements that he will be Vorakesh and they were not that much wrong!
Jordan Kerbow artists of the new artwork named his artwork "jordan-kerbow-17045-lordvorakeshfoot-jordankerbow" in this post on ArtStation, so it was probably changed during the development:

Serpent dagger: are those uthuk at it again with their weaponised snakes?!
😂. **** uthuks! They don't even appear in the game, but still put snakes everywhere 😆
10 hours ago, Watercolour Dragon said:But back to the fun facts on all things Terrinoth I think I've found a bit of an easter egg- I'm sure I can't be the first to spot it (I did google a few terms but didn't get any hits but surely somebody has spotted this one before I did, maybe not though)
You'll need to find a copy of the Outland Scouts unit expansion for Runewars Miniatures to take a look at this- the back of the box has an An-gry looking, raging, blade wielding outland scout. If you 'asked me anything' about this image I'd say the face, you could say the head, looks a little familiar and this is possibly the case also with one of the model sculpts. The artwork is also on the unit card.
This is the image:

I have no idea who that should be ... Which character from Descent it reminds you?

According to the Czech publisher of the Board Games (including Descent 2nd) we should see more information during online Essen, SPIEL.digital from October 22nd to 25th 2020.

He is very offten talking about translations, projects and shares other stuff with the fan base. He already announced that D3 will not be localized for the Czech market due to massive amount of content. Previous messages slightly suggest (this is just a conjecture), that there will be more than 2 acts, each separated in its own box. Sadly he really cannot share more details.
They made this box tease only because of previous book leak, it was not planned at the first place.
-
Oh, did not know that @ComtriS. It seems that it was already doomed by the time they announcement it
. It would be great if someone could find screenshots (which they had on their web), since their website is already down and I did not find any
Well, to add some more fact:
29) To extends Fact 3 and Rugals 2.1...
On 7/14/2020 at 11:08 AM, AwesomeTree_in_the_Dark said:3) Did you know that even though most of the items from the first edition are included in the second edition, there are still some missing,...
On 7/15/2020 at 1:36 PM, rugal said:1) Did you knew that some relics of the 2nd edition weren't in the 1st ? Like the Dawnblade (but more too) was a the "Stone cutter" gold item (no images found sorry
), and that the "Armor of elder kings", "Death touch rune" and "Cloak of time and space" were lost ? (but you can find them in my custom campaign "oath of the anvil"
...these are unused artworks in Descent 2nd of items from Descent 1st from Altar of Despair, Base Game, Tomb of Ice and Well of Darkness. Excluding Road to Legend and Sea of Blood, because I dont have scans of those and also exlcluding all the runes.

1: Aldars Mirror, Amulet of Healing, Archers Charm, Axe of Returning, Barded Blade, Blade of Light, Bo Stick, Bracers of Might
2: Crystal Shield, Dragon Scale Mail, Enchanted Breastplate, Eyes of Thara, Falcon Claws, Flute of Repose, Flying Death, Glass Armor
3: Knuckle Dagger, Lodestone, Magic Bow, Mirror Shield, Mithril Breastplate, Morning Star, Pack of Holding, Ring of Quickness
4: Ring of Rogues, Robe of Shadows, Scullcracker, Serpent Blade, Sheath of Might, Shield of the Warrior, Soulbiter, Spirit Spear
5: Staff of Knowledge, Staff of Punishment, the Cloak of Time and Space, Throwing Knife, Trueshot, Walking Stick, Wings of Regiroth, Wishing RingPage 3, fact 30! 🥳 🎉
30) Some items have evolved in Descent! For example few (there are much more) - Serpent Blade become Dagger, Bearded Blade become Axe and Throwing Knives have new artwork

Plenty of artworks are shared between Terrinoth games and usually they are exactly the same. But not Archaic Scroll, which have different background in Battlelore and also in Rune Age: Oath and Anvil

-
Great find @Watercolour Dragon!
However, BattleLore 1st is not part of the Terrinoth! It is generic fantasy/medieval mix, so you cannot really count those lizards and giant rat cats
.
Uthuk Archers, specifically Viper Legion indeed did that in Battlelore 2nd! Here are the cards with artwork you are referencing:

They are also in Runewars Miniatures game, but they have regular arrows and changed artwork as seen here 😕

(good thing they are wearing masks when this covid sittuation is going on everywhere)

More fun facts, faster than the lighting this time ⚡⚡⚡
25) New cover for Shield of Daqan contains alternative artworks of Trenloe the Strong and Andira Runehand:

26) Runebound 3rd contains same heroes as we know from the Descent, but some of them have different sculps and size proportions - they are better match with base game heroes, because they are not that big.
Previously Descent (1st), Runebound (2nd), Runewars and DungeonQuest shared the exactly same miniatures.

(I don't own all H&M so I cannot take better picture, sorry)
Elder Mok: smaller, slightly different skull on the staff
Lord Hawthorne: smaller, different sculp (both feet on the base)
Laurel of Bloodwood: smaller, different sculp (hair on the other side)
Corbin: different sculp (holding axe with 1 hand)
Nanok of the Blade: slightly different sculp (helmet change)
Red Scorpion: new sculp not seen in the Descent
Eliam: new sculp not seen in the Descent
-
Tatianna: same
Master Thorn: same
Lyssa: same
Jonas the Kind: same
Zyla: same27) You should already know this fact if you are browsing this forum, but it is good to mention it:
@any2cards made an excellent D2e Card Viewer for Chrome and Firefox which is he still actively maintaining and updating. It is open source project on github (so you can contribute to it!) which display card images when you hover over text with the card name.
It is also good to mention that the guy is 79 years old (Birthday on 6. July 1941) 👏.

Maze of the Drakon is not included tho 😢EDIT: it does also include Maze of the Drakon now! 😮
