  1. Forgot to mention, the Battledroids and Phase I clones were also on the list for the 18th...
  2. Sure, I recognise there have been several missed dates so far, but Asmodee UK is usually pretty good. Based on previous experience they don't officially announce the date until a) they have stock, and b) they know what the official release date is. Given that the reasons for the delays were supposedly customs issues in Germany, and that resellers in Germany and other parts of Europe have previously said (in the last week or so) that Asmodee Europe has now given them the 18th as a release date, that date is looking good. We know the US has stock, now we have stock, and Europe has stock and the latest we've heard from FFG also says 18th (and as far as I know they haven't immediately backtracked on that one as they did with the 4th). The source was an e-mail from Asmodee to all UK resellers. They certainly didn't announce any of the previous dates mentioned, and have resisted any attempts to drag a date out of them, as they don't announce until they are pretty sure... That doesn't mean that FFG can't just tell them to put the date back, but I'm sure that's the last thing they would want to do at this point.
  3. October 18th release date for clone wars confirmed by Asmodee in the UK...
  4. October 18th release date for clone wars confirmed by Asmodee in the UK...
  5. ok, but we've taken a ton of pre-orders, and after telling everyone about the delays only 2 people cancelled. And that's probably because they saw another store somewhere quoting an earlier (but out of date) release date, and placed an order with them instead thinking they're going to get them sooner...
  6. Me neither, but if it helps the following (non-adventure) books are currently in stock... Age of Rebellion - Cyphers and Masks, Desperate Allies, Forged in Battle, Lead by Example, Friends Like These Edge of the Empire - Enter the Unknown, Far Horizons, Lords of Nal Hutta, Suns of Fortune Force and Destiny - Disciples of Harmony, Endless Vigil, Keeping the Peace, Knights of Fate, Savage Spirits... Suitable for all - Collapse of the Republic
  7. FFG are launching 3 new paint sets soon, but they all seem to be for the core legion armies - nothing in the sets looks suitable for the clone wars expansions... so perhaps they'll be bringing out some clone wars paint sets at some point (though by that point it will be too late as everyone will have started painting well before that and will have already chosen their preferred colours). Given that the legion paints look like rebranded army painter paints, the 'official' paint will most likely be a renamed army painter colour. Personally, I think the brainmatter beige is too pale as-is, but it depends what wash you use with it. Skeleton Bone looks more like it, but again it depends what wash you use with it. But I'm sure someone here will have already tried it and can suggest the appropriate mix. I'll probably end up using citadel paints as that's what I'm familiar with, but they have an even wider variety of similar colours to ponder over...
  8. ah, right. To be fair I'm more of a Legion and X-Winger myself. Would like to get into the RPG side of things as well, but there seems to be a lack of interested people in my area, so not for lack of trying...
  9. Well this is my shop (since renamed btw) and I'm still confused - what is Splat??? 🤔 Can't figure it out by name, acronym or picture on the cover. Not sure how that equals the previous guess of Cyphers and Masks...? I can only think it might be "Fly Casual - A Sourcebook for Smugglers" maybe? (ie. if you fly too casually you might go splat into something...?)
