What’s the knock on Midnight? Is it more than just he isn’t as good as he was in 1.0 with juke/comm relay?
Price seems reasonable now and he has good game vs Jedi and Inquisitors.
The biggest problem for me has been building a decent FO squad with Midnight in it.

Congrats on a good run at a Worlds and hard luck on falling one short. Do you mind me asking what you were flying?

I quite like Boom Owls suggestion above. You’re basically replacing Quickdraw with Recoil from the most successful FO list. That could be seen as a play style choice. I’ve not seen it done before and I think QD is probably better but if you like Silencers it should work

This is why I like the suggestion of Tavson.
He’s a bit of an allrounder who can take on a wide variety of lists. He’ll reinforce and tank versus swarms or he’ll jam aces.
Kylo, Tavson with bio codes and Recoil with crack shot fits. I reckon that’s a decent list

I like this, reminds me of the double Jedi double torrent lists that are so popular at the moment.
I’ve got a list at 200 where I have hate Kylo, fanoptics Blackout and two I1 FOs

Dedicated first order player preparing for the next round of trials. There’s been a lot of discussion on the forum about good FO lists of late and one of the shining lights for the faction at the moment is the SF swarm.
It’s undoubtably good but I also find it slightly dull. Watching Poe and three A Wings on stream, the penny dropped... can’t the FO do that better?
You drop two SF and put in a Silencer. What’s great is that the squad is massively customisable.
    Kylo or Blackout?
Passive sensor missiles or gunner or optics?
    Zetas or Omegas?
    A quick glance on Metawing even suggests this archetype has had some success already with the following;
    Blackout w/ fanatical and optics
3 x Omega Experts w/ munitions failsafe, cluster missiles, passive sensors.
How would you load out the squad? I’m expecting Jedi and swarms in the trials, so clusters could be handy and 7 arcs is nice. This also gives you a tank ace to go toe to toe with ace lists.

I actually like Outmanoeuvre on him. Similar effect to trick shot except it triggers more frequently.
Force is amazing but the slight points drop to Blackout makes me feel much happier with the composition of the rest of my squad.

I absolutely love that artwork for Blackout. Beautiful.
Determined to make a squad with both Kylo and Blackout work. Current thinking is the fly two generic TIE FOs as a screen for Silencers.
Generally though, this faction is in a good place, consistently placing well at major events.

So I’ve played 3 games with three Engineers and Midnight, won 3. I’ll put my hands up and say I haven’t faced anything making the cut.
I continue to be so impressed with the Silencers. They are hard to burn down quickly, throw plenty of red dice and their dial, moving first, lets you put them in some amazing spots.
As I said in my OP Midnight continues to be inconsistent but, when kept back in the original rounds of combat she grows into games really nicely.
It’s done well enough to earn further testing.

I'm immediately drawn to Quickdraw, Scorch and two Sienar Engineers from your suggestions.
I'm not completely committed to 3 but I wanted to use my three new mini Silencer models and this list then emerged as a legitimate threat. Having two would probably bring a similar quality but that third just allows for some brilliant positioning. They are very flexible and manoeuvrable ships that can knife fight superbly and create kill boxes with ease.
