Maul can push/choke twice in a turn if needed. If those powers are up at the beginning of the turn he can use them, recover, then use them again. Very brutal...

Without the benefit of knowing how Observe works, I still think they are pretty decent for 35 points.

By this rationale, should OP prize kits not exist, or should they just come with enough stuff to ensure everyone who participates gets one of every possible prize? I don't see an issue with a limited, alternate version of a model that is IDENTICAL gameplay wise to the original. If it had different rules or something else that made it different on the tabletop, then I could understand the anger. CIS is my first love and I don't have any alternate sculpts available to me at all. Sometimes things just aren't fair.

What do you mean all four have flaw cards? If you think Maul has a flaw card, you are mistaken. Eddy Luke already stated that Maul has no flaw card. It was a photoshop error

If you play Anakin without a plan, he's going to get wrecked. If you play Anakin strategically, he's going to wreck your opponent.

I don't want this in any way though. This is what happened in 40k with the ITC rule set. It kind of killed the game for me because everyone adopted that rule set, which differed substantially from the normal rules in a variety of ways. From that, 9th edition spawned. I don't find 9th fun because the tournament power gamers dictated how the missions should be, and as a result, scoring gets ridiculous because of granularity. I don't want Legion to go anywhere close to that style where tournament power gamers are adapting the rules, and it winds up hurting everyone in the long run. Simplicity is key for me (or as simple as one can be in a tabletop war game).

I'd go with the rules printed in the RRG. This is a very good game that plays well. Are there quirks and other things that make no sense? Sure, but it is a heck of a lot better than some other war games out there. If I want to have a tabletop role playing experience, I will play DnD. I don't need or want that kind of granularity in my war games.

Anything can fall victim here. I have only ever played Boba Fett once, and he died to a single Z-6 Rebel squad that got nine hits though. I only saved four. Does that make Boba bad? No, that's just crap luck.

Not sure you have the right thread, but no, cancel != reroll. Cancel turns a shield to a blank.

Thankfully it does not work in conjunction with Guardian (e.g. you cannot barrier the hits passed via guardian)

I totally get it. Anakin/Obi-wan is going to come in just south of 400 for sure. This is an army that is going for 8 activations (9 if you skimp on a heavy weapon and use R2). Also, clones don't really play two tanks because the castle + standby sharing crap is too good. Once that goes away, It is definitely possible that a double Saber list could come into play (especially once the generic 55 point commander is released).

Not trying to be a jerk/troll, but I asked about Anakin at 200 because that seemed high. I went and looked it up after, and the max amount you could spend at present is 192. Force powers currently max at 10 each, and Training max at 6 each. In a game where every point matters, 192 != 200

Time will tell on whether hope and/or Ayla pairs well with Anakin, but how are you getting 200 Points on Anakin? Or were you referring to Ayla + Obi-wan (at 200 points)?
