MCP is a different scale than Legion. A Star Wars version of MCP will compete DIRECTLY with both MCP and Legion. It would be a terrible business move as it doesn't provide something new.

You're correct that change is not inherently bad. However, CW added new facets to Legion, it did not completely overhaul the original design. Alex and Luke have been at the helm since the beginning, and have earned the trust of the community through their actions (both good and bad). I do not play MCP, and even if I did, I would still be incredibly apprehensive with their assumption of the creative control of legion without Alex and/or Luke.

I enjoyed the handful of games I played during the GCW, but I refused to join this game when it had TWO factions. The idea of constantly playing one of two possible armies was a huge turn off for me, and CW doubled the number. I suspect other folks may have had similar mentalities to mine.

If that is the case, that is definitely bad news. I found Alex's Linkin Profile and that still listed him as being at FFG for whatever that is worth.

From what source are you getting that information about Alex?

I’d imagine a lot of that could be mitigated during deployment if you’re waiting to deploy those big units until the end. To be fair to you though, if you routinely play on terrain heavy boards, you might get more out of those upgrades.

I think targeting scopes are only good on that alpha strike turn, as they likely won't have more than 1 aim otherwise (unless you are giving up a turn to refresh offensive push) When using Iden's 3-pip, they already have their speed reduced by 1, so difficult terrain does nothing to them on that turn.

The original unit being attacked, as Obi-Wan prevents piece from being used on himself. A better question would be if an attack pool of 4 hits pierce 1 goes against Rex, who has esteemed leader, and a unit of Phase 1's guardians one of those off, how is piece applied? Does the attacker choose?

I get the frustration, but what would you have them do? They only have so much capacity for printing, and they are responsible for multiple regions (English/German/Spanish/etc).

I think either Kalani or Trench will be the eventual mid-price option adjacent to Rex whenever the do the next CIS/GAR release to square up the disparity between Commander Anakin vs Operative Maul. While he would be cool, we're already getting a generic Tactical Droid, so I am holding out hope that they give us Trench with build options for normal or cyborg!!

Contrary to the craziness desired in this thread, I do believe that Alex and Eddy have their wits about them. All one has to do, is to look at the Tauntaun changes. They handled that in the subtlest of ways.

I thought it was a mediocre episode. The big reveal was great, but the episode itself felt kind of formulaic. To be fair, I didn’t really love the first season until it was all out and I could watch it in one sitting, so I may revise this view on a second watching down the road.
