Ruhrpottspieler reacted to Tom Cruise in [3.1 Update!] Dark Heresy (Warhammer 40,000) in Genesys
Alright, new character sheet is done. It's a five page sheet now, which is fairly hefty but the last page is fairly optional, I just wanted to provide extra space for talents as my current group filled the standard space super fast.

Imperial Armour 1.0 is ready to go! Brace yourself for rampant typos and balance issues, this is very fresh 😛
I'll be putting out a small errata update to the Core Book over the next few days as well, which will apply some tweaks to personal scale weapons and how they interact with vehicles.

Yep, I'll give the character sheet a look over some time in the near future. Not sure if I'll do a total redesign or just update it to be more in line with the current mechanics, I don't really like the look of it currently but designing character sheets visually isn't really my strong suit.

And here's a Google Drive link to all the individual chapters in a folder, for commenting on with any proofreading feedback/suggestions.

Keeping it to separate chapters for annotation should make things more manageable I think. Also might be somehow useful for people who want specific chapters on their own?

I've made some progress on the roll20.net character sheet. If you use roll20 you can find the files (HTML, CSS, Translation, API Script) you need here: https://github.com/Warklaw/DHGenesysRPG
Let me know if you find any issues.
Progress:
- All DH specific skills uploaded (Medicae, Tech Use, Psychic Powers, Lores)
- CSS updated with Dark Heresy themed images (borrowed some looks from Tom's PDF).
Next up: (though currently notes could be used for any of these)
- Add Subtlety and Influence to Group page
- Update Critical tab to include other DH traumas and add Malignancy and Mutation roller and Mental Trauma trackers.
Character Details +++++++++
Vehicle Sheet +++++++++++++

Sure the normal dice roller could probably be made to work, but the character sheet and API combination is pretty awesome to play with... and a psuedo star wars skin just doesn't cut it for me. Plus in modifying the code all the new skills are set as they should be... though they can still all be turned on and off with the other Genesys skills if wanted.
The dice, are absolutely just a passing fancy and not needed, and you are correct.. could cause confusion. I may include an admin switch in the sheet and roller to run DH themed dice on or off. That said I updated the actual Roll 20 Genesys roller a while back with better looking dice and some corrections, but at this point the pull request has not been accepted.

Ruhrpottspieler reacted to WaffleHex in Custom Character Sheet for Genesys (SotB+?)
Hello,
We recently started playing SotB and really enjoyed it, so we went ahead and created our own campaign.
With that campaign, I wanted to make my own character sheet. Here's a link to it (OneDrive):
https://1drv.ms/b/s!AkFeRZuDQXqIg1bPQ8emUW0O2WGX?e=zMl7Fa
I wanted to centralize the combat and stats on one page and the character related things on another. Then I wanted to expand the inventory and weapon sections a bit. Finally, there are some space for companions (drones, vehicles, minions etc) as well as an expanded talent page.
There are some great character sheets on here already with automagical calculations of stats and display of dice etc. This does not have that. This was only a fun little side project for me where my only real goal was to have a sheet that felt a little more thematic for our SotB-based campaign.
The sheet is form fillable. It's not perfect but it works for me for the most part.
If this looks interesting to you please feel free to use it and let me know how it worked out for you. Any feedback is welcome.
Note: While I created the majority of the content, there are some pictures from the FFG promotional material from their homepage used in the background - I do not own the rights for these and if asked I will take this down.
Thank you!

Okay I bit the bullet. Here's a sample of what I'm going for with the next release of the PDF.
Background elements and artwork are all on PDF layers, so as long as you use a PDF reader with support for layers, you can toggle them all of if you want to print (although naturally things might look a little odd).
The background assets are from Dark Heresy Second Edition (the real FFG one, that is). Upscaled nicely with Waifu2x.

Ruhrpottspieler got a reaction from DerDelphi in German translation of GenCon 2017 adventure and characters + custom overviews
What about "Hoffnungslosigkeit", "Verzagen" or maybe "Dilemma"?
In the past we also played with the german translation from FFGs Star Wars P&P.

Talents are done(ish)! Here's the full talent chapter, feel free to give it a look through and see what you think needs changes. Any typos, balance issues, talent overlap or stuff you want to see that isn't there yet, please let me know. Feedback helps immensely.

Summary of what's been done here;
All talents from the original Dark Heresy Genesys core book and Liber Heresius have been combined. Bringing us to a total of 167 new talents. Select talents from Shadow of the Beanstalk and Realms of Terrinoth have been ported over. Some directly, some with changes to suit setting/mechanics better. Some have been renamed but I kept most the same for familiarity's sake. Formatting overhauled entirely, including a table of all available talents, and a shift to two column format. No art in here yet, waiting until I've got the text for the chapter fairly finalised before I put any of that in there.
