Given you have to compare a revealed manuever dial to a revealed manuever dial, I'm inclined to believe snap shot won't trigger **** unless both dials are revealed
Don't default unrevealed dials to "0" unless ffg rules otherwise
If your revealed manuever has to be greater than the opponent's, but your opponent doesn't have one...then you have nothing to be greater than
    Ergo, no trigger

What if that becomes a faction feature?
    Same with other faction cards.
No one ever said the distribution of options needs to be equal.   Some cards will be faction-locked, but other cards might just be "faction-oriented."
Maybe you can play a Sep bomb as an Imp, but getting that card is on you.
I'm not denying that some factions could use some New Release love, but "not buying out of faction" doesn't imply you get to have everything in-faction all the time, it just means that the factions are balanced without needing cards from another faction's expacs.

And silly me sitting here thinking force is one of the best and most interesting changes to 2.0, and really helps differentiate Jedi/ with from other pilots.

Yeah, force has probably been their biggest mistake since rebooting the game. It's a stupid mechanic that shouldn't exist. So much for not getting free actions anymore.

For those of us who don't have enough friends in the game or a good local scene, or who just want to get better at flying, Sandrem has done the incredible work of making a PC emulator in FlyCasual.
And for those of us who have a strong competitive streak, playing against an AI is missing some sense of personal fulfillment. After all, what's the good of pulling out that fantastic victory if you can't go bragging about it?
For this reason, I hereby introduce the FlyCasual Boasting Thread!
Two main entry forms come to mind:
    1. "I beat 5 Cartel Marauders with [____]!"
    2. "My list 200 point list was able to beat [x number of] Cartel Marauders/Blue Squadron X-Wings!"
Include a Screenshot of your achievement if at all possible (pics or it didn't happen).
    Let the boasting commence!

J-Siz reacted to dadocollin in Faction Prizes
FFG Organized Play posted some prize pics for the upcoming "Grand Championships" (nationals) and one of the photos was labeled "Top 16 Faction."  Speculation is that these are faction-specific prizes for the top player(s) in each faction.  (Although I'm not sure they don't mean the top faction lists within the Top 16. Anyone have any clarity here? EDIT: Someone else posted they think it means the Top 16 for each faction, which is a lot of cards if that's true, but also seems like a possibility.)
What does everyone think?  I like the idea of faction-specific prizes.  It would be nice if it led to more prizes!

By my calculations the LAAT gunship should be a small base ship, here’s why.

Everyone knows that officially quoted lengths are almost always wrong, so I needed something concrete to work off of, like the hight of a clone trooper, which is 1.83 meters, or 6 foot for those of us that use the system that got us to the moon. Now, a clone trooper is just barely under 1/3 the hight of a gunship

So let’s give it a generous 6.5 meters.
And a gunship is just about twice as long as it is tall

So that gives us about 13 meters, only .5 meters longer than an X-wing. This ship at proper scale would look ridiculous on a medium base.

Don't worry, no one here's put me off. I'm sure I'll make it out into the more competitive scene one day... although maybe I should learn how to not crash my TIE fighters into each other first...

When I started a month or two ago, my first purchases after the core set were the TIE, TIE Advanced X1 (Vader's ship), X-wing and Y-wing expansions. It meant I could play casually with friends using full-size squads that still have a surprising amount of options, and meant I could try out the rebels and imperials before deciding which to invest in further. I'd thoroughly recommend any new players doing something similar.

The only proper solution to them defecting is to have Stele hunt them down and eliminate them by the end of it.  The Imperials are not mustache twirling villains, that's just what the terrorist propaganda would have you believe.  The Empire brought peace and stability to the galaxy, something that the corrupt republic failed to do.  The Empire is the lawfully elected government, chosen by the people and their representatives.  If the rebel terrorists crave power so much then maybe they should work within the system like everyone else if they think they can do a better job.  Here's the thing though, they tried that, and their ideas were rejected by their peers.  So what did they do?  They went straight to political assassinations and suicide bombings.  Some role models.
