Sad to see the end of the forum here on FFG
Henryillusion replied to Dr Dee's topic in Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Something quite similar happened in the company where I work. The forum of our site was abandoned in a technical way and no developers wanted to touch it or invest any time/effort on it. Due to the new regulations of GDPR and other tech issues from the Google Search Console, having "abandoned" pages actually penalize the site and it's SEO positioning. Probably we are not worth the effort of reworking the forum. -
Transitioning from NotZ to Dunwich

Since Zoey is really good at combat, Daisy will be a great partner to find clues -
Transitioning from NotZ to Dunwich

I've recently found the "PlayingBoardGames" youtube channel and I really enjoy their Arkham Horror LCG Videos. They're doing a series on deckbuilding every investigator that you might enjoy (here's Zoey's): Also, you can go to Arkhamdb -> Decklists -> Search -> On "Cards used" just type Zoey, and "Sort by Number of likes" and you'll find the best rated decks for each investigator (also you can click on "Select Allowed Packs" to allow the packs that you own and discard decks that contain cards that you don't own) -
I'm not that sure... The card says "If a curse token is revealed..." not "For each curse token revealed". In your case, the phrase "If a curse token is revealed" would be true, so you could apply the benefits from that, but not once for each curse token.

Whispers from the deep question
Henryillusion replied to brolim's topic in Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Yes, that's the plan. You can commit it whenever you want and then gets discarded like any other skillcard, but if the investigator phase begins and you have it in your hand you will be forced to put it under Amanda. -
I'm really curious to know where does this image come from? Sounds really fun!

All seems correct! Just keep in mind that Silas' reaction ability triggers when you draw the chaos token, not at the end of the test (because you described it as the last thing you did). That also means that if that card had any benefits for "if this test is successful" or something like that, they won't be taken into account.

Even on "Easy" the game is not that easy, so try that difficulty.

Question in the devourer below
Henryillusion replied to brolim's topic in Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Also, the sentence "And what if i muligan and redraw this weakness?" can't be true, because the cards that you discard when you want to mulligan are not shuffled into the deck until after the mulligan. -
Three rules question

Birdman137 thanks for making me notice this! I'll have to play the campaign again haha -
Three rules question
Henryillusion replied to farapeppe's topic in The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth
I can't answer questions 1 or 3 cause I don't have the expansion but as for question 2: Yes, if the amount of moves are enough for the enemy to get to your place, it will enter -
Well, as with any campaign there's always the risk of getting killed on a scenario if the deck is not well built... I usually never take Charon's Obol on my first playthrough, because I don't know what to expect. The only advice is to choose investigators with high levels of sanity (Carcosa plays heavily with your mind)

How much anguish would I be in for if..

Carcosa. Always. -
Question but spoilers inside for core set
Henryillusion replied to brolim's topic in Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Every scenario might be treated as part of the whole campaign or as a "standalone scenario". If you want to play just that scenario you can follow the deckbuilding rules for "standalone mode" (which let you build decks with some XP cards) and you'll also have to check the resolutions of the previous scenarios, because some choices might affect. Is the ghoul priest dead? How many cultists did you beat on the second scenario? Etc -
Weapon/Item Question
Henryillusion replied to Vince79's topic in The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth
In the "Learn to play" booklet is listed on the "attack tests" section at the end of the first paragraph: "Each ability indicates how many successes must be spent to resolve it, and each ability can be resolved only once per attack." -
Weapon/Item Question
Henryillusion replied to Vince79's topic in The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth
Each "line" of text can only be triggered once per attack
